We have had the absolute BEST stay here!! Renee was the best bartender who tended to a large group of us but more importantly made my son and I so comfortable on a mother and son Hockey trip. This restaurant sits inside the Residence Inn Pompano Oceanside. It has indoor or patio seating and will serve poolside if you are staying at the hotel. It does have Sushi but also serves a variety of food. We had Coconut Shrimp, Fish Taco’s and Margherita Pizza. All were delicious. The Pina Coladas are excellent!

If you're staying at the Residence Inn where this is located, it's good. The view, the ambiance and the service are 5 stars. The food is a 2-3 at best. But I definitely would not come here from somewhere else. Residence inn has a beautiful pool area and outdoor dining with palm trees, flowers and just a stunning view of the ocean. So if you're sitting poolside and want some food and your drinks brought right to you, it does the job. For poolside, menu was decent. But there's no sushi on it? Guess you have to be in restaurant part to get sushi. Missed opportunity to me. I would have loved poolside sushi with a Sapporo beer. Service was attentive. The first beer I ordered was warm. They didn't even offer to replace it. The server just said he was sorry. Maybe they just restocked fridge? It was noon. 2nd beer (ordered different one) was cold. Pina coladas are expensive for size you get, and their chintzy with alcohol. I got mine with a floater when I saw how little alcohol was in it. $4 more for floater, barely a shot worth. What was more annoying was as things were winding down, I went to bar to just the get the drink myself. Bartender said ok, then had a server walk to me at bar to take my order. 18% gratuity automatically added. Dislike that immensely!!! Only reason I would eat or drink here is if you are staying at hotel. Otherwise, steer clear. The menu choices we enjoyed poolside were all over the place. The bacon cheeseburger and Thai wings were good. The flatbread margarita pizza was crap (like an Ellios slice with fresh tomatoes on top doesn't make it a margarita) chips and salsa way too much $ for what you got. Chicken quesadilla was decent. Again..for convenience of not having to move with this gorgeous pool oasis and ocean views, it was fine for lunch to relax and not have to leave.
Sushi lab , they should change the name they only had 4 rolls on the menu all the rest was not available . What was served was ok but nothing special, sorry . Maybe better next time.

I'm giving 4 stars for one reason....3/4 of the staff was absolutely amazing & went above & beyond when we asked for anything. Sushi lab didn't impress me with their options but hey it could've been an off night, the next day I ordered a shrimp quesadilla which isn't on the menu but they were happy to make it!! I ended up eating it for lunch & dinner. Now my absolute favorite thing about our stay at the hotel & sushi lab was Renee the bartender!!!! A beautiful person inside & out!!! It was my husbands 52nd bday & she went all out & offered a cake for him because we only had a cupcake. She took care of my kids & their significant others & my grandson like we were family!!!! She is the absolute best thing about our stay other than being with our family for 3 days. Thank you Renee! We will be back to see you even if we have to bring our own pickle juice

Was there once. They seem to be out of everything. We left quickly so not to have to pay for valet. Too many good sushi places to go. Skip this one

Food is average for the price and the valet is too expensive and just silly for a restaurant in a residence inn.The outdoor is pretty and view is nice though.Too bad the food is not on par.

This restaurant is not safe! A male bartender was openly flirting with minors and providing them with alcohol when they were ordering virgin pina coladas and daiquiris - it was scary and I'm not confident that the girls were safe. In much less important news, the sushi restaurant literally only had sushi once during out trip and we visited the restaurant three times (we saw/heard the male bartender on our last visit and never returned). Throughout our visits, we ordered coconut shrimp (which was obviously pre-made and frozen, not good) burgers, two sushi rolls, wine, a pina colada, and the frozen mojito...none of it was good, we only made return visits because we were staying at the hotel. I really hope hotel management or any authority looks into this bartender and ensures that patrons of the restaurant are safe. Also...have sushi available if you're a sushi restaurant.
