Genuinely think the 5 star reviews are fake. Worst sushi i’ve ever received or had in my entire life. Ordered from a location only 2 miles from the restaurant and the food came fairly quick. I eat sushi multiple times a week all across sfl and this by far was the worst tasting, smelling, looking, any category you could critique it. legitimately looked more like human feces than a sushi bowl. I tried to force myself to eat it because of the price and it was thrown out in 3 bites. Was legitimately worried about my health or getting sick from it. The fish seriously smelt awful. never had an experience like this in the 3 years i’ve lived here. Would get publix sushi over this any day of the week.

Sushi is all about fresh fish and the quality of the rice. While the quality of the fish was very good at Take Sushi, the overall sushi was very plain. A significant part of their business is carry out; there was a continuous stream of order pick up. The restaurant is small and had a somewhat strange stale odor, not fishy but stale. I would order carry out for a party from Take but wouldn’t make this my #1 restaurant choice for dine in fine sushi.
Great dishes, like the pasta cilantro salad. The FIRE CRACKER ROLL was expensive but well worth ordering. A Must Stop and Chew Location.

A family member brought us here knowing that we love sushi. We had a very large group and they were super accommodating of us sitting and talking and ordering so much food. We tried a bunch of different appetizers and rolls. So delicious! Would definitely come back!

My absolute favorite sushi spot in Pompano Beach. Family owned and operated and it shows. Great ambiance, welcoming and friendly staff and absolutely delicious sushi, always fresh and consistent. I recommend the Double Dragon roll, Crazy roll and the pan fried Gyoza. A must try in Pompano Beach!

Waitresses were great. The owner not so great. We ordered a dish called Chicken Teriyaki which was subpar. It was served with a salad, rice, and the chicken came out on a plate with teriyaki sauce on the side. The chicken was inedible as it was extremely dry. When we told the wait staff that we couldn’t eat it, it was removed, and then the owner came and plucked the rice from the table. When the bill came, we were charged for the salad that came with the meal. Upon speaking to the owner, she became gruff and kept repeating we remove it. She was not happy with us and it was uncomfortable. We ordered sushi which was ok, but too many dishes with cream cheese in them. Not very traditional. We would not go back.
