The Soulful Steep is a wonderful hang-out spot. Cozy, eclectic furniture, Himalayan salt foot warmers. The menu also eclectic with unique teas, mushroom drinks, cakes and pastries (also vegan options), empanadas and delicious warm snacks.
The menu is vast. It’s not a place you will get tired of quickly, because there is so much to try on the menu and so much to look at. They also have a Himalayan salt cave! The difference within the cave and outside of it is quite remarkable—the quality of the air within the cave is soothing and invigorating. I love their 70s bingo nights and life music. A true community hub, the owners are kind and always looking for ways to make the place more inviting. We live like an hour away and think it’s worth the drive down from time to time just to enjoy the shop. Highly recommend you visit, have the owner make you a medicinal tea and try the salt cave. Come back for the bingo night and hear some life music!

The Soulful Steep is the kind of place that I truly enjoy. We were met at the door by Ocean, the resident canine greeter. This was our first time here and Christina was so lovely and took her time to explain the different teas to make sure that we had the perfect cup of tea. We had a tour of the salt room, which is very relaxing and therapeutic. I would highly recommend a visit to The Soulful Steep, you won’t be disappointed!

Ordered 2 empanadas - broccoli and cheese & breakfast with egg and bacon and cheese. They were delightful and locally made. Next time I will get the quiche. (I had a hard time deciding between the two.) Can’t wait to try to salt cave on our next visit! We got a personal tour. Ocean (doggy) was a delightful greeter when we entered the building.

I love it here! It was my first day ever here yesterday, and today is my second day ever! I heared about it from my friends and finally in Divine Timing ended up here yesterday and do thankful I did! It’s a Total MagiK Vibe! Tea, Coffee, Cakes, Chili, Beef Wellington, Cool Merch, Clothing, Accessories, Himalayan Salt Cave! It a whole Universe me more! I’ve always enjoyed visiting Soulfull Steep with my dog, but unfortunately, my experience on Thursday night was disappointing. When we arrived, there was only one other customer sitting on the sofa. I used the restroom and ordered a cold tea, along with chicken and steak empanadas—usually one of my favorites here.
Even though the place wasn’t busy, it took quite a while for the server to bring my tea, and when she finally did, it was hot instead of cold. I politely let her know about the mistake, and she took it back. When she returned with my food, the empanadas were burnt. I’m not one to return food, so I ate the chicken empanada, which was still passable, but the steak one was so burnt it was inedible.
It took even longer for the tea to come back, and throughout my meal, the server never checked in on me or the other customer. I eventually had to approach her to ask for the check and requested that the burnt steak empanada be removed, she took it back without any apology or acknowledgment.
This was especially disappointing because my past visits have always been pleasant. The owners and the young man who works there are great but It’s clear that the person who was there Thursday night needs more training in customer service. Sadly, this was the first time I’ve ever left a restaurant without leaving a tip.
