Vega is hands down the best place in town for an incredible cocktail, great company, and real conversation. Every single time I’ve been here, the experience has been amazing—from the atmosphere to the craft cocktails, especially after 11 PM when they truly shine. The staff consistently delivers top-tier service and makes the bar feel welcoming and fun.
Tonight was no exception overall, although toward the end of the night there were a couple of guests who made things uncomfortable because they didn’t appreciate the excellent service being provided. That said, it didn’t take away from how outstanding Vega is as a whole.
If you’re looking for the best bar in town with the best craft cocktails and an unmatched vibe, I recommend Vega 100%. I’ll definitely keep coming back.

We just moved to Pompano and we went to the Vega Lounge for the first time, after several recommendations. It is a local, friendly place that feels welcoming the minute you walk in. The cocktails are great - they can make anything you want - in vintage looking glasses at a vintage looking bar. Try the Aviation Cocktail, I highly recommend it!!!

Awful service, asked for ID when I’m 28, showed international drivers license she asked for passport, tried to show photo of passport, insisted that needs a physical passport, although I wasn’t even ordering alcohol. Funny thing is have been here twice, drank wine without issues or ID request. Didn’t understand why was she acting out of spite, when we were trying to collaborate and to enjoy our evening at Vega.
P.S. dear management, at least bother to educate your servers to offer options when client asks for what beer options you have, and also educate that espresso is not pronounced EXPRESSO.

Read a bunch of reviews saying how horrible the place and service was. 100% CORRECT. Was not welcomed only to be asked for ID and when handed an ID from South Africa was told it wasn’t valid. When legally we have been in the area and researched what is and isn’t. They told us to leave bluntly. Looked dirty ontop of that. Won’t be back

I came here for a drink tonight, the blonde bartender came to ID me. I have absolutely no problem showing identification considering I’m born before the 2000’s, however when I gave her my Canadian drivers license she said that without a passport she couldn’t serve me?? What kind of rule is that? I’ve been in florida 6 months and that’s never happened to me. Not to mention she was pretty rude and dismissive. Plus the crowd was pretty horrible. Do not recommend this place if you want to have a drink without a hassle!

My wife and I were here Saturday and had an absolute blast. The staff was so amazing, caring and tended to everyone. Then, several people came in and attempted to get served with, what looked like, photo copies of ID's from Georgia. They were rude, aggressive and very demanding. The bartender handled the situation with professionalism and class. She explained why they could not be served and after repeated attempts to calm the situation, they accused her of being a racist. Which is bizarre since their was a diverse culture already in the establishment, including my wife. I can not say enough about the staff at Vega! Great neighborhood bar with a friendly and professional staff.
