Since this was my first visit to Tijuana Flats I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of food, how good it tasted, and the overall friendliness of the staff. They were really nice and accommodating. I will definitely go back again and I recommend that you give it at least a try when you get a chance. Knowing how each restaurant is a little different even though they might be part of the same chain I'm specifically writing about the one on Southeast corner of Hillsborough Boulevard and Federal Highway in Deerfield Beach in the Publix Plaza.
Parking: Tijuana Flats is located in a fairly large Shopping Plaza with Publix and Staples as some of the main stores, therefore the parking lot is also quite sizeable and rarely do you have to waste a lot of time looking for a space.

The food was really good. I had the quesadilla my wife had the chimichunga... Both were delicious. The service is more order and pick up but had tables to sit at. Very casual place. Clean and friendly staff.
Always order two beef tacos, chips and drink at three dinners. Always fair portions.The beef taco filling and toppings are skimpy and few. Unacceptable. Nothing like the pictures or usual portions. Unfortunately this review won’t allow pictures to show you and lucky for Tijuana Flats. Where is portion control in the kitchen personnel ??? Check your to go orders before you leave People!!!

Great hot sauce bar and decent Tijuana trio. The tacos are big and good but are the chicken tacos always served cold or did I get a screw up? They where good but like the chicken was pulled out of the fridge.

Cashier didn't greet us, never once smiled or even asked how everything was. We were the only customers un the store. I find that Florida has no customer service and 90% of employees are just so rude. I grew up in a time when a customer walked into your business, you said hi welcome to? how can I help you today.

The food and location was good after we got inside. When we were standing outside at 10:58am on Saturday September 17th waiting for them to open at 11:00am, the cashier walked by us, unlocked the door, went in, left it unlocked but never acknowledged us. We waited to 11am, opened the door and went in to order from the cashier. She was friendly once we go it but it would have been nice if she would have acknowledged us and welcomed us in since she left the door unlocked. An alternative would have been an acknowledgment and letting us know that we can come in at 11:00am and she was leaving the door unlocked. We just stood their unsure of the situation because she pretended that we did not exist when she walked right by us.
