Been coming here for years, the sign says it's open until 9PM. My family and I arrived at 8PM. After we ordered and sat down we were told we could not sit down because the dining room was closed. None of that is on the sign. Will not come to this location again. Food is taking forever to be served.

We have been going to this location every Tues night for Taco Tuesday for years. We loved all the employees especially all the girls that worked up front. They would always take such good care of getting refills or just checking on us. Right down to knowing our order. Also the food was always good. We never had a bad meal there. Now new owners, none of the same girls work there the chips are stale and greasy literally dripping with grease. The Taco meat is all grease drips out of your Taco. Doesn't even taste the same. My daughter's lettuce was brown. This place has gone down hill fast. We will not be going back we will drive to another one. Usually the place is packed. There was no one in there. Now I know why they all left. Also the girl at the front said it was a good thing all the girls left. We would much rather have the old crew back then her. They actually worked and were so friendly.

We ended up here for dinner after a rain. I had been to a location near Orlando so showed up off of name recognition. You order your food at the counter upon entrance. They had menus to look at. It was a Tuesday evening so I guess it was Taco Tuesday!!! I got nachos with chicken and the hubby got chicken tacos. We found seats in the back. However, I had to walk past a wall of sauce to get there. Did I ever say that I love sauce??? Well I do. I was really excited. So we went to find seating. There was a large group of girls there at a round table in the middle. They were kinda loud but it was cool. The tv was good and it didn't take long for our food to come out. While waiting for our food I went to try the sauce bar. One stood out pretty quickly and I bought a bottle to take home. I dipped all of the chicken from my nachos in it. Because it was kinda tasteless without it. The platter was very filling and my husband enjoyed his tacos. He's a basic food eater and doesn't like spice. So everything was good to him. The restaurant was about to close so I ran up to purchase my little bottle of sauce. Can't wait to try it on wings or fish or veggies! Not a bad way to spend our last night.

Expected it to be better I service was great girl working at the front was very nice but my meat in my tacos were cold and my taco shell was supposed to be hard but it was a half soft half hard so it felt like my food had been sitting for a while before they gave it to Me.

Since this was my first visit to Tijuana Flats I was very pleasantly surprised with the quality of food, how good it tasted, and the overall friendliness of the staff. They were really nice and accommodating. I will definitely go back again and I recommend that you give it at least a try when you get a chance. Knowing how each restaurant is a little different even though they might be part of the same chain I'm specifically writing about the one on Southeast corner of Hillsborough Boulevard and Federal Highway in Deerfield Beach in the Publix Plaza.Parking: Tijuana Flats is located in a fairly large Shopping Plaza with Publix and Staples as some of the main stores, therefore the parking lot is also quite sizeable and rarely do you have to waste a lot of time looking for a space.
