Umberto's Restaurant & Pizza

The restaurant was not open and appeared to have been closed for some time. They should change their status on Google and their website if they are no longer operating.

Great family-run restaurant that's making an impact on our community. They have live music weekly and a great happy hour! They have our favorite pizza, but also a fun date night for us! On more than a few occasions we have taken advantage of their incredible catering options that have been a hit at numerous events we have hosted and attended!

Closed for no apparent reason and didn’t even tell their 3rd party online ordering service. Charged my card for the order and now I won’t be able to be refunded until they contact the owner who conveniently isn’t answering calls. It’s been over an hour, no food and still no refund. Horribly ran. Ridiculous

We were there for charity event and the place is filty. Service was so bad!!! It was a toys for tots fundraiser and staff was not nice!! We brought tons of people and it was awful!! Heard they got closed up for health violations but have reopened. JUST HEARD They made dirty dining on chanel 10 a 3rd time and health department were there again for roach droppings !!

They canceled my reservation at the last minute ! I was already on my way in a Uber ! And they said "it's not our problem !" Sounds crazy ! First time in my life !I put 1 star cause we can not put 0

I have reserved for a French song evening on January 26, 2024, reservation for 6.30 p.m. to 5.45 p.m. the Restaurant calls me to tell me that the evening is canceled. I booked a prepaid, non-refundable Uber. never book an evening at this restaurant

If you’re from Brooklyn/Long Island and you love pizza…. This is the place! Not only is the food amazing, the atmosphere is welcoming and reminiscing of the old Brooklyn days5 stars all the way!!!! We sat at the bar, and watched the football game while listening to soft rock from the 80s and it felt great. ??? The platter of fresh basil, Parmesan cheese and spice to top off you’re pizza made it extra special. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My grandson son ordered food waited for 1 & 1/2 hours called and was told they couldn’t find the order, then they found it & said it would be at least another 45 minutes. He canceled it, the food which in my opinion is mediocre at the very least and if you eat in it appears that they are doing you a favor. I will definitely let my 200 neighbors know about our experience. They made the mistake and it just shows you in my opinion what a second rate Italian restaurant will do.

I ordered delivery at 5:40 pm and called at 6:30 the baked ziti was coming out of oven! Really it akes that long! By 7 pm no food call agin and tell me it’s out for delivery! Really I am suppose to wait 1.5 or more for food! No they just lost a customer ! No customer service at all!

I live right down the street, order here every week and dine in as well. This is the third time I’ve ordered a HALF pepperoni pizza and get pepperoni on the entire pizza. Very upsetting especially when the order is repeated back to me correctly but when I go pick it up it’s wrong. “Oh sorry” is all I get back. Beyond ridiculous.

Everytime we are in Pompano or Ft Lauderdale we go to Umberto's. This thing we were so disappointed. The place was dirty and there was hair in a glass and on the salt shaker. We had to ask for I've 4 times for our water. The salads came out 10 mins after the meals. The kitchen is straight filth.

Sat at the bar and had drinks and dinner. The service was excellent. The bartender was very attentive and friendly. He knew the menu inside and out and made some good recommendations. Once we placed our orders, the food came out in no time. Everything was very good and hot. The only downside of eating at the bar is that it is very warm from the heat from the kitchen. Big thank you to Jeff, the bartender!

Worst sandwich i ever had. Chicken parm. Nothing worse than burnt chicken. No cheese whatsoever even though I paid for extra. There wasn't any that even came with it. The bread was burnt also. I live close by walked over for a takeout walked back and was oh soooo disappointed. Had to through it out!!I WONT BE BACK!

Phone order went well, average Pizza order w/wings. Pizza was ok. Ordered well done Hawaiian, not much flavor, but doygh was crispy. HOWEVER, wings only served with a super thick, yucky BBQ sauce & mayonnaise thick ranch. Wings were VERY DRIED, fried & tasted old. $20 for 10 small, dried wings is horrible, so unless it's different for in house, versus delivery, don't order wings. Delivery person was very pleasant & kind. Thank you.I hate giving bad or mediocre reviews, especially to small businesses, but that beachside price deserves better food. #NotaFLTourist

Maybe I was given the wrong pizza? The food was okay. It was my first time ordering here. I ordered a grandma's pizza. I didn't check before I left which is my own mistake but it says on the menu the gtandmas pizza comes square, with basil, garlic, olive oil, oregano, mozzarella cheese and sauce. I believe they forgot the garlic and oregano, and only 4 tiny pieces of fresh basil and the pizza was round not square. It wasn't bad, I guess I was just expecting it to be great. I'll try it 1 more time and then decide.
