I went to lunch here today with my coworkers, and as someone who loves pork griot, I was super excited to try this spot. We walked in and there was not alot of customers.. maybe 1 or 2 but there was something about this place that made me feel like you know the food is going to be really good because it's always that hole in the wall place that nobody knows about and the food is just amazing... Well!!! that was that spot!
The food was incredible. The pork was juicy, the rice and beans were full of flavor, and the sauce that came with it was amazing. I looked at the menu and they had regular pork griot and large pork griot.. I picked regular and it was a lot..I was so happy with the amount that they gave me that I took the leftovers, it's enough for dinner tonight!
The server was very friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. The overall vibe of the place was really nice, warm and homey.
I highly recommend this spot. I’m already planning to come back next week with friends. The food was just that good! And the price was amazing!!!

The food here is really inconsistent—some days it’s good, other days it’s not. The vibe when you walk in is always unwelcoming. One time they gave me the wrong order that had been sitting out and it was cold. Also asked for extra pikliz and she told me no…. Like I had to tell her ima pay for it and she said yes… like girl. I even saw a customer throw their food at the cashier because it was cold and they refused to fix it. Do better.

I was really craving some Accra, so I ordered 11 at the restaurant. Guess what they gave me? Just some marinade shaped like Accra, I was very disappointed. How can you expect people to spend their money on something that’s not even right?
