Blueberry fritters are the best. My wife loves the lemon filled. A trip here is always a treat.

We ended up not going in. Cash only sign in door - ATM available. Why not just take card payment and pass the xx cents merchant fee on to the customer?! Who carries cash. Not using an ATM to be charged an extra $3 by my bank AND a ATM fee just for some donuts.

Not bad but not great. Expensive and only can use cash. They say it's because of high charges but they put in a atm that charges there customers but not them. As a business owner myself that's poor business. You box yourself in doing that. I wish them well. This is not a knock to them just my thoughts.

This shop is not at all modern, it has a very old-fashioned vibe, and you can definitely tell it's more of a mom-and-pop store. That said, the prices for their doughnuts are very fair! My only complaint is they only accept cash, but their doughnuts are some of the best in Port Charlotte! 😋 If you haven't had a doughnut from Abbe's Donut, you should go! They're very original and tasteful, and they really put a lot of care into the food. 😍 My personal favorites are the big cinnamon rolls and the glazed doughnuts with chocolate and coconut drizzle! Their customer service is phenomenal! 👍 The atmosphere is a little old-fashioned, but the food and service are amazing! The doughnuts are cooked fresh daily! 🍩 They open early and close around noon, so be an early bird! 🐦

Best donut I have ever had! We went there last Sunday they didn’t have much because they were closing but they did have the donuts I love so it was a win win!! I went back Monday for more and realized they were closed! I will definitely place a special order next time I’m down! The ladies were so kind! 😊

My 3 year old wanted donuts this morning so we packed up and went over to abbe's since when we lived here a few years ago it was great. well things have changed and not for the best we got 12 and when we got home the donut were dry and not even close to fresh it was like eating a week old hard donut. wasted money and a drive.

This places donuts are unbelievable. I honestly don't even like donuts but a guy from work brought them in once and I tried it. Now i look forward to waking up early on my only day off losing much needed sleep to make sure I can get a donut. Worse even my kiddo is addicted to them to...

Lovely little donut shop. They were delicious and priced very fairly. Got a few glazed, a chocolate glazed and lemon filled. I unfortunately didn’t get to try the glazed or chocolate as my son gobbled those down before I had a chance. The lemon filled was very rich and packed with filling. Like heavy with filling. So delicious. We will definitely be back.
