We always enjoy this Charley’s. Good chicken cheese steaks and loaded fries. The mall is unfortunately going down hill but we still go to Charley’s once a month or so. Classic mall restaurant.

If you're looking for that true taste of a real Philly old school style, with steak, onions and cheese whiz.... Keep driving right past this place! So many sauteed yellow onions that it taste like a candy bar. No balance between the cheese, meat, bread or onions whatsoever! Worst Philly I have had in 50 years! I took a chance on a buy one get one free with a small California Chicken Philly for the wife. They didn't even take the time to use the proper greens of an iceberg lettuce head. It was all the Rhine.. white bitter portion of the lettuce head. Three of the smallest flattest ungrilled pieces of chicken breast I've ever seen. Maybe the size of a silver dollar each piece and flattened out exactly like one. I didn't even know there was chicken on there because it was under 3...1/4 pieces of cheese! I thought they gave me the wrong item because it looks absolutely different than the picture they have on display on the menu. The so-called Cajun fries that actually look like they are battered in the picture came to me limp and soggy with only 1/3 of them seasoned. I spent $52 for this order and the only thing that I finished from top to bottom, and can say was good... was the strawberry watermelon lemonade fruit drink. Maybe they should just convert and be nothing more than a soda stand. Because they have no idea how to cook anything with the word Philly in it. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody.

We ordered just a steak and cheese sub x3 and literally was a scoop of steak and cheese Wiz. Poor quality and insane price at 14 and some change per sub

OK! I never leave feedback but had to after stopping at one inside a Walmart in Ft. Myers! First of all, the fries were fine! Other than that, the Chicken Cheese steak was made up of flaky processed meat that didn't look or taste anything like chicken, and looked more like dried out sponge material sliced up thinly in the sandwich! It was really pretty gross, and I would never go back!

Although I shun shopping malls and their associated food courts, I had some time to kill while awaiting a problem to be resolved at a nearby kiosk and decided to grab something to eat while I waited. Because of the prices and selection Charley's was the most inviting of several in the immediate area and I took a chance on their chicken Philly sub. It was prepared in front of me and served very quickly. The order taker was pleasant and the person preparing my sandwich was polite and courteous when she handed it to me. This little place is a winner. If I'm ever required to be in the mall again at lunch time, I'll certainly go back to Charley's!

I wish there was another location around the area. Like Charley’s but this one sucks and the food is terrible

I was quite disappointed today when I got my cheesesteak. I love their Philly cheesesteak and I was excited to get it today but I don’t know if I can get over the meal I had today. I ordered a regular size cheesesteak. I told the cashier and the cook was next to her “no veggies on it, only meat and cheese. And can I get extra cheese on it?”

I walked away while they are cooking it to put my drink down at the table. They call me for my order and when I got to the counter I was shocked by the lettuce, pickle, and tomatoes on my cheesesteak. I told them I didn’t want vegetables. I couldn’t understand what the cook said to me but the girl behind the counter said it is my order and it has extra provolone. I stood there for a few seconds and decided that I didn’t want to argue with them to remake my food. I was so grossed out by the pickles and tomatoes.

I can understand if that’s what other people normally get on their cheesesteak but I told them “just meat and cheese”.
