Cozie Cafe is now Mean Jeannie's, but since they don't show up on Yelp yet I am leaving my review here. We decided to try this place since we loved Cozie Cafe. They only accept cash so expect to be hit with ATM fee's from their in-house machine as well as your own bank. Right off the bat it cost us $5 and we hadn't even ordered any food yet. The prices are pretty high for a diner type restaurant. $10 for a breakfast wrap that is only the flatbread/tortilla and egg. From there you add $.50 for each item to add to it. $10 for a basic wrap is crazy when you can get breakfast taco's for under $2 each at other places. The serving staff and kitchen seemed very disorganized as I watched several tables only have part of their table served food, while the others had to wait. Nothing seemed to be coming out in any organized fashion. All the tables had to wait for toast and it arrived almost five minutes after the breakfast arrived. We saw a party of 4 leave after standing by the door for several minutes and nobody acknowledging they were there waiting to be directed to an open table. The food is ok, but not the best I have ever tasted. It cost us $30 for 2 people for breakfast (plus $5 ATM fees). I think for the cost and service I will just stick to my other local favorites. I really do hope they succeed, but can't see that happening based on our experience.

Cozie is now Mean Jeannes. Jennifer bought it and it's even better than Cozie. Soup is fantastic and food is excellent. They did a great job of cleaning it up. It's now so much brighter than before. Congratulations to Jenn!

We had been regulars here for some time, enjoying the food and friendly servers . In the last few months, maybe its a year the quality of the food and service had been dropping way off. Our last visit, I'd give our breakfasts a D+ As of October 2018 there is a generic sign in the window that they are closed for renovations. There is no evidence of any renovating work in progress my guess from the declining quality of food and service that the owners have lost interest in continuing

Food is delicious and comes to the table HOT! Wait staff is friendly, fun and helpfull. Plenty of seating and the establishment is clea,the food fresh. Recomended for lunch as well as breakfast. (Try the Reuben Sandwich mmm ;-p)

Have been here in while. Got a late breakfast and it's as good as always. I had the over the top, biscuits and potatoes topped with gravy. The food is always great but today seemed really good.i was very pleased to se the young friendly waitress I always remember being there. So the service was fantastic as always. The only bad thing about this place is me not eating there enough. One of the most homemade and consistent breakfast in town!!
I'm sorry but we did not stay to eat. The food as described on many a review on Yelp may have been good, but upon walking into the Cozie Cafe & Grille, the smell hit me... a cross between dirty floor and bad cleaning product. Now, I'm a lover of a great dive and have eaten at many, but I just couldn't stomach the smell here. Another downer was the extremely dim lighting (like a bar). The four of us just walked in and walked out. I just couldn't imagine that kitchen being a kitchen I'd want to eat food out of. Sorry guys .. a liitle elbow grease goes a long way and so do a few 100 watt light bulbs.

This place is good with great food but I had an incident this morning that I'm not very happy about. I sat up front since I was by myself and noticed a cook kept looking at me. I was hoping he'd stop once my food came but he didn't. I told the waitress I felt uncomfortable because he kept staring at me. She spoke to him and he said he was talking to the people next to me, not staring at me. That was a huge lie. Then she proceeded to tell me "I'm sorry you feel that way" I felt super disrespected and now this makes me not want to go back.

This place is great! From the food to the service. Very friendly people and a nice setting inside. The location is a bit secluded but it's a great cafe. I would recommend this cafe to anyone who enjoys great food! Will be coming back.
