We had the best waitress. Very kind and attentive to our needs. She answered all of our many questions. It does have the new paint they were talking about and it really looks and feels nice. They kept the old time photos and gift shop the same. This gives the inside a great feel and you can see better . They do have some new and different items on the menu and kept some of the old standbys as well biscuits cornbread mash potatoes turnip greens pinto beans green beans. My favorites...

I normally can’t finish all my food but I did yesterday you’ve got to try the Luisiana Shrimp skillet it was to die for so delicious seasoned to perfection!! The drinks were really good too I got a strawberry and a peach mimosa and they gave me a little buzz lol I gave service 3 stars because we order fries pickles as an appetizer and she never put them in and when I asked where they were she was like oh I never put them in and I’m like ok are we allowed to still buy them...
