Cuban Taste Restaurant

Would have given them zero stars if possible. This is a poor example of our Cuban culture. I asked for a midnight sandwich and the attendant told me they don't have it. Surprised, I asked if they were out of the ingredients. She replied that I was the only one who's asked for it. People don't know it so they won't make it just for me. I would expect them to help the community get to know the Cuban cuisine but seems they make what's cheap and easy because English speaking clients don't know any better. Food was mediocre. Don't waste your time and money.

Absolutely fantastic!!! We have a few hard days here in Punta Gorda after the hurricane and this food was such a welcoming and delicious treat. Super fresh, not greasy, authentic….i can go on. Thank you guys for being open and sharing the love

Food is very good and would be a good idea to add Cuban bread to the dishes..
But the lady that attended me and my boyfriend was very rude. She didn't listen to what i wanted and i had to correct her a few times when she gave me what i didn't request. Only prepared 1 dinner, then gave me a look when i told her, we were 2 people. It's as if it was a big deal to get it right.
Handed the receipt to my boyfriend who tipped well... didn't even say thank you. She walked away, didn't even say goodbye.
Not sure if the food is worth the treatment.

One of the highlights of my visit was meeting Armando, the owner. His dedication to his restaurant and his customers was evident. Armando made it a point to personally greet each guest, including myself, with a warm hello and a genuine smile. It was clear that he takes great pride in his establishment. Before I left, Armando made sure to stop by our table to say goodbye and to check if everything had been to our satisfaction. This personal touch made the experience even more special.

The food at Cuban Taste Restaurant was nothing short of amazing. Every dish was bursting with authentic flavors and prepared with the utmost care. My girlfriend enjoys Cuban food, so I found this place while on a little get-away. It is clean inside but looks like a dive, but isn’t that where the best food always is? Absolutely amazing food, I had pulled chicken, rice and beans, fried mashed potato meat thing, and Yuca. Everything was spot-on, portions were enough for leftovers and everything tasted amazing. Definitely worth a visit, loud inside but if you are hyper-focused on the food like we were, you’ll barely notice and it adds to the dive feel.
