El Rincon Del Mofongo

Terrible experience. First time dining here and I mistakenly gave the waitress more cash than I should have. An extra $20… when I noticed and asked for it back I was met with immediate aggression and no desire to listen to me. I asked them to please review footage and if I was mistaken I would gladly apologize. They refused to pull footage so I left. The owner decided to follow me out to my car and I had to call the police…. Over $20…. Needless to say will never dine here again and will be warning ALL about them.

Unfortunately may not visit here again we chose to try the oxtail for 20 dollars, and the lady only served us literally the smallest 5 pieces with barely any meat on it not worth the trip or the money

The food is very tasty! I don't usually eat spicy food, and I thought this one was going to be difficult to eat, but it is only the tiniest bit of spicy only, no issues eating at all, but if you want it to be very spicy, there are sauces that you can use.

Went there for mofongo and was really disappointed. Bland and expensive. We had 2 different versions: chicken not well season & pernil (pork) same lack of seasoning. Oxtails were good but not worth the cost. I would not recommend them.

Truly authentic Dominican food (take my word for it, my mom was Dominican and I lived there for 16 years). That said, this place is the definition of a “hole in a wall” restaurant, but it is 100% the real deal. I had the Mofongo with Chicharrón (pork rinds). Check it out!
