Food was great. Service was very bad. Slow never checked on us. Didn't get the appetizer we ordered. Dinner tasted absolutely amazing sultans platter compliments to the check. Server never came to see if i wanted a refillOrdered dessert and tea, come back 5min later to ask if I wanted the tea sweetened, came back 10min later and said the coffee would be a few more minutes...told him we ordered tea he says oh I have to check with my manager we might be out of tea. Really ruined an overall great tasting meal. If you DO go order octopus it's so great and tender and sultans feast. If you live nearby order to go to avoid bad service

I normally love this place, but I had the most off-putting experience lately. Let me preface this by saying I frequent this place and love the food. This review is NOT about the food. I came to dine on Valentine’s Day and arrived at 8:02p. They close at 8p. I was abruptly turned away (and I won’t say who because I am not trying to single someone out), by a staff member who said “We’re closed”. Valentine’s Day is my birthday, and I said that to the staff member. They didn’t ask the manager if it was ok to let us in only 2 minutes late, and it was my birthday. I cannot express how disappointed I am with this exchange. The staff member is very young, and with experience, they will probably think twice turning away someone in that situation. This definitely leaves me with an uncertainty about going again. 🫤

There was only one person working the bakery, bar, and restaurant. We weren't acknowledged for over 5 minutes even when walking into the bakery area. When we sat down, it was near a table with a child walking all around. We moved tables to the next one over, and the waitress made a remark that we couldn't because it was a table for four. She shook her head, walking into the kitchen. We left the place. It wasn't busy and in the middle of the afternoon. The bar and another table had dirty dishes on it. We really wanted to try the place but they need friendly and accommodating staff.

Nothing fancy but the sandwiches, salads and dips are delicious. Service has always been very good. You can eat outside or inside. They have delicious desserts and pastries. Coffee is good too.

Vegetarian options: The dips are delicious and come with good pita bread or cucumber slices. You can order all appetizers or a full meal. Their falafel is excellent.

Parking: Parking lot is small but we have never had a problem.

Food was terrible absolutely no effort put into the food. We ordered the vegetable kabob plates which are $22 each and were given over cooked mushy rice and raw onions the only good thing on the plate were the tomatoes. The falafel were definitely fried twice and were hard as a rock the grape leaves were disgusting. Save your money go pretty much anywhere else in port charlotte and you’ll be happier.

Worst gryo ever. Highly do not recommend. Thin meat, has no flavor, sauce like bland sour cream.

Service was slow with a long wait for food. One of the items I wanted wasn't available. I ordered the trio for $21, and they charged me individually for each item, which was $42. Hubby didn't know what I'd ordered and signed the check as is. The grape leaves and spanikopita were not fresh and didn't appear to be house made. The beet salad was just greens, 4 slices of canned beets (not pickled or flavored), and goat cheese. The goat cheese was seriously the best I've ever had. Overall, we were both disappointed with the experience.

We are currently displaced because of Milton. We happened to be driving by and stopped for dinner.
What a pleasant surprise to stumble on this gem of a restaurant. Our server Farrah was very knowledgeable regarding the menu. We ordered the gyro wrap and the Guinness fish.
Both were excellent.
We will definitely be coming back to try other items on the menu!

Really nice people work there. If you've never had that kind of food, they're very patient with you and explain a lot. I had a great meal. A great time and I can't wait to go back.

Very good gyro and falafel! We went for lunch.
They need to have a lunch menu only complaint.
Both gyro and falafel come with no sides.
