The sign in the window says, "Try Our World Famous Homemade Biscuits and Gravy." Well, I don't know about world famous, but the biscuits and gravy are indeed downhome great and well worth a visit. The gravy is a tasty nutty brown with a generous amount of ground sausage. But the stars of the plate are the biscuits. Fluffy and scratch baked, they beat the commissary hockey pucks that are on offer in pretty much every other breakfast joint in the area. But be warned....
We have gone several times and love the food. My daily favorite is the biscuits and gravy which I can only say you have to try it as words don't do it justice. Food is made one table at a time fresh which is rare.
I had you most perfect hamburger of my life here!. Was cooked perfectly, bun was noticeably soft and fresh, I ordered with lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, and no cheese.
