While food quality is important, the Port Charlotte Metro Diner stands out due to the excellent staff and a hard working managing partner who make every visit a pleasure. Even during peak times they always greet you with a smile and work together as a team-something you rarely see in most restaurants today.
Metro diner is terrible. Staff is imcredbily unfriendly, they treat disabled veterans poorly and they have the worst attitudes you could expect as a staff. No customer service skills at all and it starts with the tip the manager cooking. Terrible terrible place to eat. Terrible experience. Ride absolutely the worst people to be around when trying to get some food and relax.
Absolutely love this place- Sandy and all the amazing staff every weekend (this is my husband and I’s weekend breakfast place) is amazing. They know our orders and are like family. We order take out or delivery during the busy work week and are so lucky we live less than 2 miles from this place. Great food, friendly service and consistency- love Metro Diner!
