Pitmasters All American BBQ

After the rebranding from the old BBQ place that was in this location we had high hopes for Pitmasters. They did do a very good job renovating it before they opened. We've been there three times over the past year and we've been disappointed each time. The first couple times we figured that they were just figuring things out. Now, a year later, it's much worse. The staff are nonchalant and distracted. The Mac had zero flavour and even less cheese. The brisket (and this is why I feel compelled to write a review) was completely embarrassing. Overcooked, tough, flavourless would be flattering terms for this. Small portions and overpriced. The bartender agreed to take the Mac off but never bothered. The pulled pork was dry but I think that's why the bartender brought over so much mustard that we didn't ask for. It's really too bad about this location. It seems to change brands every few years. I imagine that this place will be gone soon as well so hopefully the next folks get it right. Two stars for the good renovations.

Great baby back ribs, salad, Brunswick stew, cornbreat - but my favorite item was our dessert - pumpkin bars! To die for (this was the Sat after Thkg 2022 so twas the Season!). Amber, our server, was terrific, too. Great experience. This place should advertise more!

This establishment is blessed to have Kim as a waitress. She did an A plus job! She served a huge crowd of Browns Backers game at this restaurant! Mu husband and I shared the chicken quesadilla. Very good!

I ordered the sliced pork platter. The pork was very dry and crumbly. A couple pieces were so hard that they weren't edible. We've eaten there numerous times before but this meal was very disappointing. No problems with service. I don't know if we'll be back.

Orderd food to go. Baby back ribs were good. Brisket was dry. Collard greens were under cooked. Mac and cheese was edible. Salad greens were wilted and old. All of the food was cold. I live 5 mins away and was very disappointed. I would not recommend. BBQ sauces were good. Kitchen needs better quality control.

I don’t know if the other reviews know what bbq really is but this is not it! There’s nothing about this food that says pit master or bbq. Totally disappointed. First and last time eating here. Ribs were burnt to a crisp, everything tasted oven baked. There was no smoke flavor at all.

My husband and I went here for dinner the other night.The food was absolutely amazing. I got the half chicken and it was one of the best smoked chickens I have. The chicken literally fell off the bone. Husband had the brisket which was so tender and full of flavor.Our waitress' name was Danielle. And she was AMAZING!!!She knew so much about the menu, was very quick in service, and very polite with us. She went above and beyond more than what she had too. Very nice young lady and was working hard that night.Great job Pitmasters!!!!!Will definitely will be back and recommend to others.

Tonight was my first night at PitMaster’s! It was actually spur of the moment and totally unplanned.I’m glad I pulled in. This will be my BBQ spot moving forward ??The food, the venue, the hospitality flawless. I’m sure the locals all know this already, but it’s new to me… and PitMaster’s hit a grand slam in my book.Cheers my friends

Holy corn nuggets!!! Highly recommend. The pulled pork was amazing as was the pulled chicken and the brisket...the Pitmaster beans and corn rock. The choice of sauces is exceptional. Bartender Josh is always refreshing your drinks and is so attentive. Atmosphere is chill and relaxing. Wear elastic banded pants!!!

Went to Pitmasters for take out tonight as it was spirit night for my kiddos school. We ordered a mushroom Swiss burger an All American Burger and Mac n cheese dinner. I was pleasantly surprised when I got dinner home. Lettuce tomatoes and onion were packed separately from hot food and was actually cold. Fries were still hot and crispy and burgers were cooked to perfection and bun was perfect and not soggy at all!! Mac and cheese was a hit with my picky eater as well!! We can’t wait to come back and try dine in next time!! This is the first take out meal in a long time other than local pizza that was awesome! Thank you so much for fixing dinner tonight for my family!! Edit Although I didn’t catch his name, bartender was courteous and friendly while I ordered and waited for meal. Thanks again!

Great food and friendly staff

I got the bbq meal for two. It was okay. It wasn't anything special. It was edible. It didn't taste bad. It just wasn't great. It was just okay

This was our first time at this restaurant. Nice and spacious, it wasn't busy at all when we stopped by. Staff and our waitress, Samantha, were really nice and welcoming. She was attentive and checked on us often. The food was great, we ordered the loaded fries with pork, brisket and ribs. Overall a good place BBQ. Will be coming back!

Went in on lunch and stood at the front door for several minutes ignored by staff as they passed by until we were finally told to find a table. Only a few tables occupied when we arrived. We ordered 2 salads and waited over 30 minutes. We watched several later tables get their food then asked the waitress about our salads and that we had to get back to work. We asked they be take out so we could get back. Several minutes more the salads come out plated. The salads were extremely light for the money, and still prepared wrong, but we didn't have time to wait any longer to try to rectify anything. Got back to the shop and tried to swap out igrediants to what were were each supposed to have. The lettuce was in pretty bad shape definitely not $25 worth of food. Have had good experiences in the past, but the manager must have been off today.
