Red Lobster

I made a reservation on Open Table, then when called to ask for earlier, they couldn't find it. I only said my first name, and we saw it under last name when I got there. Just an FYI, to state your full name if you make reservation through open table. 😊

Made a reservation for 7 pm two days previous to reservation. We arrived on time and a patron ahead of me, who did not have a reservation, was told that the wait would be 1-1/2 hours. I advised the agent that I had a 7 pm reservation, the agent found my 7 pm reservation and advised that they had over booked, and it would be 1-1/2 hours until a table would be available. I will never return to this location and I encourage Open Table to remove them from their site so future patrons do not have to experience the inconvenience that we suffered. Red Lobster Port Charlotte should be embarrassed and probably should have closed when the chain went bankrupt.

We were originally booked at an outdoor another restaurant in outdoor garden with patio heaters but opted to go to Red Lobster because it was cold outside. We were a group of 7 people and we were all so cold in the dining room that we had to eat with our jackets. We asked the waitress if they could put on the heat. She checked with the manager and his reply was no because it would take too long to warm up the big dining room. They had tried it the day before for another party and it didn't make a difference. Honestly I think we would have been warmer at our original booking in the garden with patio heaters

Christmas service was stretched due to reduced staffing and a heavy walk-in crowd (Red Lobster was the only restaurant open in the Murdock area. Even with our reservation, we had a 35 minute wait before seating. (Many walk-in patrons waited over an hour.) Service was prompt, but our server seemed overwhelmed at times, losing track of who had ordered what, and forgetting 2 sides for two different entrees. Two orders of grilled salmon were thoroughly charred, and extremely dried out. Otherwise the meals were fine, with plentiful portions. It was a shame that staffing was so sparse that whole sections were not utilized, with both servers as well as kitchen and bar staffs were overwhelmed.

Red Lobster cheddar biscuits! Need I say anymore? The biscuits were great and so was our meal. We ordered the steak and lobster and everything tasted great. The service was outstanding. Our server did a super job to ensure we had an extraordinary dining experience.

Restaurant was freezing and smelled like old fish, bathrooms were dirty and also smelled bad. We rushed to eat so we could get out of there. We will never go back to Red Lobster

Everything was great. I think waitress was new. She was fine not as quick as someone experienced.

Surprised at the food. The fish was cooked as it should be but the asperigus was cooked until they were shriveled twigs. I did however have this charge removed after bringing this to the Walters attention.

They were able to seat our large party. Took an hour and a half to receive our food. The lobster flatbread was nasty and it was not lobster, it had a nasty fish taste. The fish was greasy, had maybe 12 fries and 2 hush puppies. Very disappointed in quality of food. Server was great and tried her under the circumstances.

The food was mediocre, I ordered steak and turf, but the steak came burnt instead of medium pink. The worst meal in a long time.
But the service was really miserable:
Service occasionally when walking past, unclean cutlery and rolls when asked, no drink refills and additional sour cream possible and very unfriendly.
We will never go there again.

I think there was only one person working there. Service was really really slow and the food wasn't so great like it always was before. I'm still going back.

The server (Catline) was warm, friendly and very professional.

Do not put an order to go here . Had to wait 1hr and 50min for an average order. When was ordering they said 30-35 wait time . So ye u can see how truthful they are . Plus they had the audacity to ask for tips after 2 hr waiting.

My server was Caitlin who was wonderful. She was very attentive and helpful with the menu. My food came out so fast, I wasn't ready. I truly enjoyed my visit.
