I've passed by this place several times and told myself that I want to check it out sometime. Well, I finally stopped and Wow! I was very impressed with the place. The food was amazing and our host was great. I will most definitely be back!

Rossini's is a surprise. Located on the outskirts if a mall, it is in a building that once was a drive through of some kind. It's been remodeled into an intimate, small Italian restaurant with white clothes tables and nice cutlery. Each table was graced by a bottle filled with tiny bulbs, a nice touch. We were there in mid-afternoon so there was no crowd. We both had the house salad--very fresh and plenty. My companion ordered the scallops on risotto, a daily special, while I had the traditional eggplant parmesan. The scallops were fresh and very tender, topped with shredded glazed carrots. He ate--and enjoyed -- them all. The eggplant was not baked and there was enough for two meals!! Perhaps a bit heavy, it would satisfy anyone who loves that traditional combo.Vegetarian options: A quinoa -spinach salad that I would order next time and that could be vegan I expect if you held the cheese. The eggplant Parm would suit a traditional vegetarian. And it was enough for two meals.

We got off the plane from a New Jersey visit for Thanksgiving. Found Rossini’s on the web and thought we would give it a try.It is located on the edge of a run down Mall, the decor is bland but neat and clean. The hostess was very welcoming - she was also our waitress. The salad was fresh and tasty. The mussels Maranara were very good. The linguine with clam sauce was great. The cannoli was excellent. We asked for bread with our mussels and got a very soft and tasteless serving of sandwich bread.A good Italian restaurant needs good bread. The pricing is outrageous! $13 for a glass of wine-$26 for linguine with clams-$8 for a cannoli-$9 for a house salad. This is not New York.Total experience was very overpriced.Hope my observations are viewed as constructive.Wish you good luck.

Update, I'm completely impressed. The young woman used caller ID and called me back at 7 PM. She apologized for not being able to handle it right away but they've gotten super busy at the restaurant. What a wonderful surprise. Her calling me back made such a huge difference in my day. It was wonderful. I wanted to buy a gift card with this restaurant. They don't open till 430 so I sent an email before they opened about wanting to get a gift card with all the information that they would most likely need other than the credit card. I never heard back. So I called around 5 PM. A woman answered the phone. I told her what I needed. She said OK can you hold? I said yes and she never came back to the phone after a half an hour past by. So I sent another email indicating that I wanted to get two gift cards. I tried calling back at 6:15 PM and I got a operator type recording saying that the line was in use and I couldn't connect. Probably because she still hadn't come back to the phone from when I was holding and it's sitting off the hook now. The food looks like it would be amazing here. Unfortunately the customer service seems to be quite awful. It says on their website that they offer gift cards. It would be great if I could just buy it on their website but that's not available. I'm giving four stars because when I read about the restaurant and it says that they try to source all their food, local and good quality. I love that. But due to their customer service I only gave four stars.

Went here based on over 100 reviews and a 4.5 star rating-such a disappointment Outside cute with lighting- felt like a cozy family owned Italian place Walked in and we were the only other table-other table had 4 guests- they left and a couple came in- that's it The wine list was nice The bruschetta was good- fresh, 4 pieces of bread Husband had Caesar salad w chicken- small pieces of chicken which were frozen and infused with smoke flavor- not that it was bad but you could def tell it was that prepacked "hickory smoked" chicken pieces you get at Publix I had the short rib ravioli- it was topped with raw carrots that were "spiraled" but not seasoned or cooked in any way. The filling was good- the pasta was homemade but raw when it arrived- I bit Thru the ravioli and could see the flour in the center. The "sauce" tasted like a canned beef sauce. I rarely send plates back but for $28 this was unacceptable I ordered spaghetti and meatballs-what could go wrong?? The meatballs were dense and heavy- the sauce a simple tomato sauce with no flavor or depth. The pasta was cooked well-Al dente Our server was great though-attentive and friendly. Minor detail but the parking lot was difficult to navigate. Will not be back-had such high hopes for this place The service was great so we tipped generously

Well, not in my soup but buzzing the table. Might of had something to do with a wide open front door. Fried Zucchini was cooked well but cooled off. Coconut Fried Shrimp was terrible. The coconut was burnt to a powdery texture and mushed into a Pattie with a tail. The Chicken Marsala was again cool. The noodles were fine but cool. Three very small and thin chicken strips. Maybe a half cup of sauce. The interior of the restaurant was poorly painted and just uninviting. Prices are the same as other good restaurants. Pass on this one.

It was an absolute surprise, really quiet and staff was really friendly. The food was a amazing hot and delicious, the pizza was so juicy and the crust was nice and crispy we had the special of the day was Grandmas pie and Garlic beard with real garlic chunks.

Absolutely sad! The second we walked in, I knew something was off. The ambience was very different and they were playing trash music. You would expect beautiful Italian music or jazz to be played. It turns out the old owner retired and sold the place. Our short visit was very awkward and silent. The servers were also inappropriately dressed. Again, this place used to have class. We started with an order of garlic bread and that's where the visit ended. The bread had chunks of jarred garlic on it. We told them to cancel our order. We weren't going to stick around and play Russian roulette on the entrees. This used to be a classy authentic Italian restaurant and the magic is gone!

Went there tonight 9/24/22. When I call to see if I needed reservations they said yes you should, so I made reservations for 630pm ,arrived at the restaurant at 6:25pmThe parking lot was empty, my wife said is this place open for business ? I said the sign says open. We were the only couple in the whole restaurant', ok! slow night. I order the grilled octopus for an appetizer, my wife ordered a garden salad. The octopus was very tough. The garden salad wasn't worth eight dollars. My wife ordered the special which was very good. I ordered linguine and clams had no taste. My dish came out only at room temperature. Very disappointing will not be back.

Wow second time here foods fn amazing.bravo !!!!'Evelyn and Francesca were awesome! Had the tuscan soup, spinach strawberry quinoa salad ,and (surf and turf) rib eye and shrimp scampi were great !!!Semifreddo incredible!!! Only thing i would say is get rid of the paper on tables and the lattice just missing a little bit ambience. Thanks Rossini Trattoria Gastronomica For becoming another Fav or ours!

This use to be a hidden gem with Mauricio and Dario recently when things opened up we went and the experience did not live up to our memories, we decided to give them another try tonight. When we entered the restaurant had been remodeled it was brighter but as soon as we entered there was a smell reminiscent of grease traps and a bit smoky feeling. We noted that the menu had been simplified with many of our favorites were gone. The soup of the day was crab it was luke warm and the featured crustacean had jumped ship The pasta we ordered was wedding food level if I am kind with my review. Sad to see that things have reached this level a gem has been lost

The service was great. We has the special of the evening chicken francese the chicken was tough, greasy and " rubbery" and inedible served in a congealed "lemon sauce' over Spaghetti. Very over priced. We won't be back.

I have never written a negative review. I simply would not return to that business, but I want to save people money and keep them from a bad experience.Chef Dario retired, and now the food is horrible. No more homemade pasta, terrible Carbonara sauce, eggplant lasagna was literally 2 small stacks of 3 pieces of eggplant with cheese and a slice of tomato.SAVE YOUR MONEY! NEW OWNERS HAVE RUINED THIS LITTLE GETAWAY.

A really good dinner in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The exterior does at first not impress, but when you step in you realize this is not what you first expected. Well composed and prepared dishes to all in of us. With great service as well. The main courses and the desert were really special. A place to come back to in the future!
