Really enjoyed the potato tots appetizer and the pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw. They've put a new carpet in and everything was very clean.

it pains me to only give a 4. Sonny's is one of the staple places I go. I always order the sampler as I did this past visit. I asked for the marbled brisket, then I was told they were out of brisket. So I asked to double up on the ribs and I was told she couldn't do that?? I was told I could have extra chicken or pulled or sliced pork. Whatever it was still good, the Sonny's amber were two for one and I fed the family and the kids had ice cream all for $40. Hard to beat that!

The last 4 times we went they we're out of corn and or tater tots.. Last night we waited 55 minutes for our food and was given plastic utensils.. If it had been crowded I would have understood but it's at 50 percent capacity.. Probably won't go back which is a shame because we go for BBQ aboue once a week..

Food was good as always, but, it took forever to get it from the kitchen. **What's up with that** I had a sandwich with fries and my wife had loaded tots. I'm thinking they were waiting for the potato's to grow? Only taking away one star for slowness. The wait staff were nice and this restaurant is generally a good place to eat--(the food usually comes out quickly).

Try the new brisket grilled cheese sandwich, it was good definitely filling. and of course had to get my favorite corn nuggets with powdered sugar, those are always yummy. Good service, kind of busy during lunch. But overall a good experience

The corn nuggets were delicious! The fried okra was ok, not much taste. Bathrooms were so dirty I walked right back out without using them. They had all the sauces on the table and I doubt they are sanitized between uses.

So I’m not a very big person on reviews but last night we decided we’re gonna go to Sonny’s for dinner. When we got there we were seated and our waitress her name was Rachel was serving us and the service there was outstanding.we’ve been to Sonny’s before previous numerous times the service was never as good as it was last night. She made the experience at sonny’s Worth going back. As well as the food was on point. As I said in the beginning I don’t write reviews but I want it Sonny’s to know what an outstanding job Rachel did with us last night. It really makes a difference when you go into a restaurant in the service is so outstanding that it makes you wanna go back again thank you Rachel wish I would’ve caught your last name but the service you gave us last night was amazing will be back to see you again.

This past Wednesday, my boy's and I decided to have dinner at Sonnys. I had the sliced pork dinner, my oldest son had the wing appetizer, and my youngest had the pulled pork kids meal.The food came out in a timely manner, hot and tasty. Julie made sure our food and dining experience was a great one. I hope everyone that was in Julie's section gives her a compliment, because she was non stop the hour we was there. Taking orders, delivering drinks, food, and refills. Great job Julie.
About 50% of my food was great so 3 stars. The pulled pork was delicious, the potato salad and broccoli was great. The chicken was decent. Unfortunately the ribs and sliced brisket were soooo dry.My sweet tea and waitress were great as well.

Our dinner was great and the server we had was the best we’ve had in a long time. Her name is Rachel and she was on her game. Drinks always topped off and she always asked if we needed anything. Will be coming back again.

Picked up my takeout tonight only to discover it was incomplete when I got home. I guess they expect you to unpack your order in the parking lot to insure everything you ordered was included, When i got home and realized I was missing items, I called to complain, she asked if I was still in the parking lot, I told her no I was already home. She apologized and asked if I wanted to speak to the manager, I said no I wanted to eat while my food while it was still hot, but it would have ben nice to have had the entire order. What earthly good is speaking to the manager going to do, it was not going to correct my order. And these are the people that Joe Biden wants to pay $15 per hour. Yeah right. The food that was there was good though.

We came here tonight for dinner, ordering cheeseburger w/tots, and all you can eat ribs. The ribs were simply heavenly! Fresh and juicy. Cheeseburger was as always fantastic! And our waitress Julie, is impeccable with her service! Its always a delight for us when we come and she serves us.

Great experience today at Sonny’s Port Charlotte! Our server, Sarli, greeted and seated us immediately and did an outstanding job with service. Prompt, polite, unobtrusive and she anticipated our needs. My husband and I both got the Pork 3 Ways and our food was hot and fresh. Ribs were perfect! The fried okra is always good and today was no exception. The restaurant was clean, staff were all wearing masks (if you care about that, which we don’t, but know many do), and seating was properly distanced. Great spot for lunch or dinner. We definitely recommend!
