Do not eat here, as they will willingly risk your health to avoid cutting into their profit. They do this by not cutting the pellicle off their steaks, a dry, inedible part of aged beef that should not be eaten. They will then get on Google, and angrily reply to anyone who leaves a subpar review of their restaurant. This is a very poor business decision, and only serves to make you, the management, look even worse. Quit being cheap, and quit being so confrontational when approached with criticism. Maybe it was a good thing they shut down, and if they come back I hope, for the restaurants sake, it’s under different leadership.
My personal experience here was a less than pleasant one. I ate here with my fiance a while back, and I can only remember a single good thing. The waitress and bartender were absolutely spectacular. I could not say the same for the cook that came out of the kitchen to accost me over my remarks about the raw steak I received. Upon hearing I wasn’t satisfied by my meal, the waitress retrieved one of the chefs from the kitchen. He asked me rudely, “What’s the problem?” I told him my concerns, as the steak was borderline raw, and they had not cut the pellicle from the steak. As someone with experience aging meats, this is always the first thing you do before you cook the steaks. The chef told me, “This is the way we do it.” And left the table. We paid and left, and I finished cooking the steak once we got back home. When I made my original review, the management responded almost immediately accusing me of spreading false information, as they claim their steaks are wet aged, not dry aged. So which is it, because both your waitress and cook told me the steak is dry aged. There is either a serious bit of miscommunication happening, or the management is lying to save face. Either way, this is a piss-poor way to represent yourself and your business, and I beg that whoever runs Harold Seltzers comes to their senses.

I'm not one for putting bad reviews on restaurants. I might have just had a bad experience. the only thing I can say is they closed the Gulfview Steakhouse for a reason and you need to find out what that reason is
Great food! Great time! Great prices! Great to be alive.

They closed for good!
Nice memories of eating here between 2006-2009.
edit: you're welcome Harry

We went for an early dinner sat in the bar in a big booth where it was quiet. We enjoy that they give you points/rewards that total up to an occasional treat every now and then so at this visit we enjoyed a very large beautiful fresh shrimp cocktail on *the house* since we had reward points from previous visits. You just can't beat that continual great food that they're known for, prime rib, their creamed spinach, THE HOME MADE BREAD! ?

Our Waitress Cassandra was excellent, funny and anticipated our every need! Always request her!!! Jason the Chef who made our steaks cooked them with perfection!!!! I highly recommend and ask for Cassandra! You won’t be disappointed! Thank you Cassandra and Jason for making such a special memorable dinner experience! 10 stars to you both!!!!

Took my family there for my son’s birthday. His cake melted and the manager ran out and bought him a new cake. Entire staff was friendly and the bartender made drinks out of the old icecream cake. We had a blast !

This was the worst food me & my 3 friends have ever had. We all got prime rib. Tough, over cooked, extremely salty. Great baked potato, though small. Salad small. We just brought it home & washed it & fed to dogs. They will not be getting 180.00 from us again.

Our reservation was at 315, we were seated fairly quickly but our order wasn't taken until 4pm. Our server came to the table, fanning herself and wiping sweat from her brow. our meal was served at 435. Rice tasted as if made day prior. Food was brought to the table cold. Harold Seltzer was there himself, when he was made aware of this his first response was "did the server ask to reheat it?". carpet was dirty, menus outdated, duct tape on seats. Top dollar price . This was our goto steak house for many years, it unfortunate that it's on a serious decline.

Our Ceasars salad was drowning in dressing, I asked for well done steak it was under cooked the waitress asked to take it back I already waited 30 mins for it the smashed potato look like it was thrown on the plate. When we placed our order, the waitress forgot part of my order was charged separately. The only nice thing I could say was that given my resident a free cake for her birthday.
