Had high hopes because of the reviews. Potatoe ball wasn't cooked enough outside, just mush . Beef empanada was meh , the pork one was good. Maybe if I had ordered in Spanish the food would have been better? Maybe my expectation are off.
I ordered traditional Puerto Rican food for my spouse and myself for our wedding anniversary and asked the man to just mix it up because my spouse is Puerto Rican and I wanted to surprise him with a traditional dinner. WOW did this place serve it up. I ordered on the phone and even though myself and my spouse do not speak spanish the woman who answerd got someone on the phone right away to help. Food was cold. Rice tasted old and had hard overcooked grains, pork chop rare and pink inside. Mofongo soft, pernil smelled very porky. Requested a reheat. Cook must have changed. This was Not my best outing. I've had better from them. Disappointing.
