He a Brooklyn born Italian boy & myself a lower manhattan born Irish gal we ere both exposed to a picky & spoiled palet dining in the best places New York had to offer ! Knowing very little about true bbq !! Only out backyard self taught recipes ??we were never so thrilled to get lost on a simple day out as we did and YOUR amazing aromas and pleasant smokers attacked our senses !! We smelled you well b4 seeing you ! No ofence !! We said holy shyt ! Where’s that coming from !!? B4 we knew it we were pulling into your lot side by side with your smoker ❤️❤️❤️we wasted no time racing to place our order! 2 prime rib and multiple sides !!!im hoping I can luck out tonight and order same night !!? Sadly my husband passed but not b4 we soon began ordering frequently!! We had planned to one day own the proud bragging rights to have tried each item you had to offer ! We got close ! And I’m still attempting to seal the deal for my beloved Billy boy ! Each time I order from one of your amazing family joints I find myself offering a peek of my recent choice up to the heavens saying this one’s for you baby !! And I silently eat and savor my entire dinner or lunch in hopes he can witness my continued attempt to seal our Robrts Family deal ! I’ve got only a few items to go now !as you opened Robert’s 2 a few blocks from our home I. Holiday !! Thank you for making my experience heart felt and in helping obtain our pledge !! Did not enjoy this bbq. It felt like yesterday's food reheated for about the 10th time. Rice was super dried out and the mac and cheese wasn't great either. My counterpart said the baked beans were straight out of the can. Their bbq sauce was basically heinz 57. The bun was the best part and actually quite fresh. I ate outside and even the local ibis wouldn't touch my leftovers. That was a first for me.

The Salmon dinner and Salmon on Rice are my favorite meals. The sides are also very tasty. I like the potato salad and coleslaw as well. The Cornbread goes really well with the rest of the meal. Every thing is moist and succulent. I would like to try the Everyday Specials like the Large Stuffed Potato or the Senior Dinner. I recommend Robert’s Smokin’ BBQ to anyone who wants authentic BBQ meals with delicious complimentary dishes.

Roberts is just straight up good old fashioned barbecue, this dude is a master at his craft if you ever get the opportunity to support his business please do so. The food is great The people are good this is a great joint to check out.
