Rooster Thai Sushi

Traveled from Oldsmar to try this place as my fiancé and is Thai and I love sushi! It was difficult to find and we almost left but saw it tucked back between the mall courtyard! The atmosphere is small and comfortable and intimate. The food was top notch, the fish and all sushi was very fresh and well delivered. We will definitely return!

Absolutely PHENOMENAL!! 100% worth the two hour drive, we had amazing sushi, crab Rangoon, service, and even unfiltered ginger ale! Me and my dad will be back over and over!!

Not the best customer service. Actually very rude. I never asked for anything to be put together I asked for 2 separate things a tuna roll and a California roll. And apparently you have to make it clear to separate them. And then she seemed annoyed that she had to separate them. Well one was for me and one was for somebody else.

More of a sushi place than Thai but the limited Thai dishes were very good and the sashimi was fresh and well presented.

This is the absolute best sushi in Tampa Bay! The owners treat you like family when you come in. Everything on the menu is delicious, so you can’t go wrong. Our favorite rolls are the green dragon and the summer roll. We also are big fans of the pad see ew.

My husband and I went for dinner. We split the Lobster Bomb Roll and had spring rolls for appetizers. He got ramen and I had panang curry with shrimp for my entree. All the food was amazing! Service was impeccable! It’s a small place but cozy and comfortable. We love “mom & pop” places vs chain restaurants. This one was an absolute gem and we will be back!

We sincerely enjoyed each of the sushi dishes. I loved the Sunshine Dragon Roll and Tuna Ocean Roll. Our servers were compentent and friendly. Janine took pride informing us that the yummy ginger salad was organic. I was quite comfortable in the simple atmosphere .

I got the lunch special; 2 rolls and soup or salad. I chose the spicy tuna and the JB roll with Miso soup. No notes. Everything was phenomenal! Will definitely be a go-to spot.
