Haven't been there in a few years, but I stopped by last minute while I was in the area. The first thing I noticed was that the place could really use an update. The atmosphere is pretty run down. I was unhappy with my choices and with the prices, which I thought were higher than most, but get less food! Most places you get soup, salad, and your entree comes with rice and noodles, vegetables, and a protein. This place was soup or salad, and you had to choose between rice or noodles, and if you chose noodles, you had to pay extra. Was not happy about the fact to pay more money to get less food. The flavor of the food was pretty good, but the show was definitely lackluster. Our chef barely even spoke to us or did any of the things you expect to see at a Hibachi dinner. My granddaughter and I were both very disappointed.... Don't recommend it. I won't be returning!

I’ve been eating her for years. Very sad to see that the quality of food and restaurant has declined so much. I ordered 50+dollars of food including sushi and hibachi. Very sloppy , white boiled chicken not cooked properly, wet noodles, no seasonings. You can tell the chefs cooking the food have not worked in food service long or ever possibly. Sushi rice was hard and falling off. I will not eat here ever again…. Very sad.

Food was below average at best!!! The fried rice had nothing in it. It was just rice by itself nothing else.. I ordered their best steak and chicken. We all specifically ask for medium rare steak… It was well done… The chicken was way overcooked hard and almost crunchy.. I would never go back!!!

Sushi-Sashimi and tempura dinners. Both very good. One piece of the tempura needed to be prepared a bit differently so the batter would stick. Someday we may try the hibachi.

Tonbo Hibachi Grille was a great amazing experience. The hibachi chef was very entertaining as well as in tune with the desires of everyone around the grill. I enjoyed the food that I chose from the menu as well as the theatrics of the amazing chef. I had a nice dinner which included Fresh Red Snapper and Fried Rice. My daughter had Fresh Grilled Tuna and also an order of Tofu with noodles. Even a vegetarian customer would love it too. I highly recommend
Tonbo Hibachi Grille to anyone who loves fresh Hibachi cuisine and would like the exciting way the food is prepared and presented for each customer!

Was not very clean. Surfaces were sticky like they had not been cleaned in a while. F good was good, but nothing like other Hibachi resteraunts. Our chef said store keeps tips that are automatically placed on bills. If that is so, I would not work there. I know I will probably not be back. Just did not get a good vibe from the place.

We came here for the first time for my husband’s birthday. Upon arrival the greeter was nice. As we followed her to our table I noticed that although it looked like they wiped the tables down there were still areas that had pieces of rice etc. I was turned off right off the bat but my husband insisted we sat down. Once sitting, I set my elbow in the table to look at the menu but the table was super sticky. I had to go the bathroom to wash my arm since it was sticky. As we were waiting for our cook I looked around and saw little pieces of food on the walls. I was so done after that but my husband really had his heart set on trying the food so I stayed.
The food? It actually was not bad. The cook was nice and so was the staff. If they would only give the place a thorough cleaning they would’ve gotten a solid 4 stars out of me.
Cleanliness is important. How can I trust it is clean in the kitchen where we cannot see, when it is not clean where we can see.
The food was fine. The place needs a cleaning. Until then I won’t be going back.
