Can’t explain
This place never disappoints me. I always go for the lunch special because no where packs my plate like here despite the inflation of everything. Plus the food is yummy as usual...

The food was outstanding—authentic, rich, and full of soul. I ordered the griot, which was perfectly seasoned and tender on the inside, with just the right amount of crunch. The pikliz added a spicy, tangy kick that tied everything together. I also tried the diri ak djon djon, and it was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted—earthy, aromatic, and absolutely delicious.

Not only was the food amazing, but the staff was kind and attentive. I’ll be recommending this place to everyone I know. This is the BEST restaurant in town - try it!

The freshness of the food blew me away! From the diri kole to the soup joumou, everything was prepared with care. I’ll definitely be coming back for more.

Sadly the worst food I’ve had. Griot was all fat. Djon Djon rice was AWFUL. Gravy was all grease. I guess I should have read reviews before eating here. Also waited forever for the food after calling it in.
But the young girl in the front was very nice!

I ordered a catering plantain on christmas eve, Guys i m not lying I threw away all plantains. The plantains were not cooked full of grease. When I called the restaurant to report the problem, they told me the manager is not there. I was so pissed by the way they organized this, they put all sweet bad plantains at the bottom n all non cooked plantains on top. I couldn’t chew the plantain, so hard, not cooked n full of grease. I think I m done here. When their food is not full of salt, it s something else. Guys do better, shame on you. Haitian cooking is so good but with yours i don’t know.
I have frequented the restaurant in the past without incidents. Tonight was different, however. After waiting close to an hour for my order, I watched as the counter person handed over other orders that were placed well after mine. I stood by and watched without saying a word. A patron who was watching the whole scene advocated on my behalf. I thanked him and watched as he left with his order. The counter person finally decided to service me and what she did was nothing shy of deception in an attempt to steal from me. I used my debit card to pay. I tapped my card on the screen and while the payment was being processed, I noticed that the counter person was "jabbing" hard on the screen pad as if to "manipulate the system". 15 seconds had passed when the "Thank you..." screen was displayed along with the option to print receipt. I felt odd and quickly pressed "PRINT" for receipt. The counter person looked me straight in the eyes and said: "Your payment did not go through". I simply stated that "my receipt just printed. Can you hand it over?" She repeated herself and I asked her to hand over the receipt that was printed. Then, she decided " your payment was short by $2.00." I asked her to explain how she came to that conclusion. She explained: "You only had $35.00 on your account, and you will need to give me $2.00". I then asked: "How could you know how much I have on my card - which by the way was in excess of $18K? The payment was $37.99 per my receipt. Show me where it says I paid $35.00?" With that, I handed her the receipt to show where it showed that $2.00 was missing. Mind you, if using a card, payment in any amount would never go through if a customer is short in any transaction, unless the cashier specified the amount to be collected on the card. This was not the case. Another patron was brought into the matter at the counter person's request. The patron simply shook his head and stated that "the payment went through and that the +$2.00 you are pointing to are taxes." Surprised to be caught in a scheme to 1) double dipped and steal from customers; 2) asking $2 in cash money. I am upset by what she did. I have tipped the counter person in the past but after waiting so long, service did not deserve a tip this time around. I came to the restaurant, ordered food and waited. What has the counter person done to deserve a tip??? The answer is NOTHING! I am disappointed but I understand that the issue was the counter person who is less than honest in her behaviors. I am not sure if I want to continue frequenting that restaurant again. Time will tell!!!

Mostly posted so everyone can see how the Haitian Patti looks when they order. The first time I went and had it it was nice soft, flaky, seasoned, I also ordered Griot it was very seasoned and delicious. This time I have my Fiancé make the order, the Patti crust was Stale and old I didn’t taste the filling but I also didn’t continue eating because I seen another review saying they gave her old food so I felt this Patti was old and the worst part is my fiancé cracked her tooth on this Patti being her third time trying Haitian food. After my wife ordered a Haitian Patti the ma’am said “what kind do you want?” And my wife asked “which type do you have?” And the lady shrugged her shoulders and said “chicken?” She didn’t know which flavors were in front of her.

Never order from here. There's two bleached face women at the counter who are rude and always on the phone. Very unprofessional.

I ordered food from online and got a notification that says my food was ready for pickup. Went in there and the bleached face lady said it would be ready in 5-7 minutes. 5-7 minutes went by and my food still wasn’t ready. Real time wasted, won’t be coming back.
