The griot and sweet plantains was cooked perfectly! The pikliz wasn't spicy at all and the meat sauce was lacking in flavor but the sous pwa made up for it. Overall the meal was really good.

Saw a review of this restaurant on TikTok. I have been wanting Haitian food for a LONG time. They did not disappoint! The Griot, Black Rice and Plantains!! Delicious! I certainly will be back!!! The portions are huge so it’s a great deal to me!

Not everyone can cook griot! I ordered a griot complete fried soft, diri jonjon rice. they charge $2 for the rice and .70 cent for a small sauce cup. The griot was fried hard, rice was stale. I wouldn’t come back or recommend. The plantain was the only good thing on the plate. The pikliz looked old, didn’t look fresh in the slightest

Lady at counter was rude and short when I asked if she had a to go menu , she pointed to a big menu taped to the counter and then said on line with a snarl , no thanks to many other establishments to go to, won't ever step into that restaurant

Owner’s daughter is rude and very disrespectful. Ordered a $30 snapper, and they made me a $40 one without even consulting with me. The girl did not even want to own up to her mistake.

Today I went to pick up my food that I ordered through doordash and found out by another customer who was complaining about the taxes being 8% versus 7%.
The cashier didn't speak English however her attitude was horrible. The customer was demanding back the right change of 7% not 8. The cashier refused to give her the difference. She basically ignored her. She ended calling the owner and the customer told her she was tired of being charged 8% that this is florida and she was going to report her. The owner told the cashier to give her the difference in change. I was shocked because my son always buys food there. The pay pad shows 8% . It seems as if they have been charging 8% since they have been in business. Thas illegal and so wrong on all levels. Why would the owner do that. And the fact that no one there was able to change it tells alot. I will not be going back there. Prices are already high why would someone have 8% on food and that's has not been passed by the law. I am shocked and turned off, especially the way it was handled by the cashier. She didn't care or seem concerned. The owner needs to do better. The food is good but the integrity is not.

Ok I ordered thru uber eats didn’t receive a confirmation but went to check my account funds were removed for my order called the restaurant the nice lady say sorry no I didn’t receive your order so I’m wondering who’s at fault?

The food is decent, but the portion sizes are disappointing for the price. If I'm paying a certain amount, I expect a fair serving—especially when my white rice comes in a tiny to-go box. On top of that, the attitude I received when questioning it was unnecessary, and then being asked for more money was unacceptable
