My husband and I went to "Bread making Class" and it was so much fun! The vibe was awesome and Chef Kelly was so welcoming which made our experience even that much better! We also took advantage of purchasing some detox juices! Highly recommended!

I ordered 5 french onion soups to go for my coworkers and myself, I work as a nurse and have limited time for lunch (30 minutes). I picked up the order and payed without looking over the transaction as I was in a hurry. When I was tallying up the order I noticed we got overcharged. The prices online are not right. I called to ask for a refund of the difference, but the owner Said her prices are fair and did not want to refund me the money. I love to support local businesses because they are the heart of the community, but paying for something you didn't expect is not right. I was met explanations of why the prices are the way there are, but the problem is the prices of the menu online are not the prices I was charged; they said the website hasn't been able to be updated. Finally the owner offered to give me complimentary soups, but I don't work with the same group all the time and all I wanted was a refund of the over-charged amount.The soups were not separated into individual containers, and I had to separate into individual container and put together each of my co-workers soups with slices of cheese that weren't melted or shredded (not easy to melt), using up all my lunch time. The broth tasted good, but the onions were pretty crunchy. Not a great French onion soup in our opinion.

The chicken and waffles was really good but the expensive brisket and mac and cheese is more like mac and cheese with a tiny bit of brisket. See photo.Very expensive.Would not order anything mac and cheese from them again but I do recommend the chicken and waffles. That was really good!Overall a three experience.Work on your brisket and don't charge so much if all you're going to give is a bucket of mac and cheese with a sprinkle of fake brisket.

The food was unique and very good! I wanted to try their crab cakes, but they were out. So obviously, I was meant to experience the mushroom "crab" and OMG! So good! Tested like crab to me! Got hubby the chicken & waffles...MORE than enough for 2 people! I also got 3 "scallop" mushrooms; they were meh. But the spinach bed was soooo tasty! It made up for the meh. I think the salad bar could be made to look more appetizing. Not that it's UN-appetizing, it's, once again, meh with good food hiding! Try this place, PLEASE! You'll LOVE it. Great place for kids. A sort of McDonald's environment with a healthy menu.

WE LOVED IT!!!! I came with my whole family and everything we had was amazing! The five of us all got the French Onion Soup cups along with our meals and it was SO GOOD!!! The portions were all amazing, really a great bang for your buck, especially in this economy! We love it and will tell our friends to join us next time. Thanks for the amazing food, service, and atmosphere! Kelly is a gem!

Definitely come here!! This place is a gem. We had such a good meal. Jarelle (I hope I spelled his name right) was super chill and kind. His chef skills are amazing. We’ve eaten a lot of plant based food and this was seriously a treat for us. We got the chikn and waffles (v) and the brisket and Mac and cheese (v) and the surf? Something (v) lol all of them were amazing. The use of different mushrooms made it so much better than heavily processed options we’ve had elsewhere. Loved how even the presentation was so pretty. It made us feel like we were having a fine dining experience in a cozy laidback place. 10/10 recommend and hope to come back next time we’re in town.
Dashers beware: After waiting over an hour on a 7 item order the merchant cancelled the order not the customer. Watching every single patron be served before my order only to result in the restaurant cancelling it is unacceptable. Especially after being told only "10 more minutes" "15 more minutes".

It’s not often that I come to Google to leave a review, but this is a must. I visit PSL from pittsburgh every few months and I make it a point to come to Chef Kelly’s every time, if not multiple times while I’m down there. Her and her staff are friendly and accommodating and they have some of the best vegan dishes I’ve ever had. This place deserves more recognition.
