Fun place, good food, friendly staff (could have used another server)
Went for the open mic night, so not a typical evening there, I'm sure.
went to the open mic night on Tuesday and had a great time. The house band is excellent and friendly towards the other musicians. Good group of people making music. will definitely be back
Great place
I used to enjoy going to this nightclub when it was called Cielito. At first, there was no cover charge, and the music was great. I even spoke to someone who I believe is a part owner, asking if it would be possible to add more toilets to the women’s bathroom. He mentioned that it would be too expensive.
However, things have taken a turn for the worse. They now charge a $10 cover fee, and while they still have just one toilet, the last time I went to the restroom, there was no air conditioning—extremely uncomfortable. I spoke to the man I had spoken with before, and he was incredibly rude. He said he didn’t want to spend extra money on electricity and implied that women should just go in and out quickly.
This behavior is unacceptable, and the music has become worse over time. This will definitely be my last visit. It’s disappointing because it’s one of the only Latin nightclubs in the area, and they clearly take advantage of that. I do not recommend this place, especially for women. Stay away!
Is sad that I can’t give them a 6 star review.
Amazon place. Good food, good prices. Highly recommend just give it a try and you will be back 1, 2, 3 times more….!
Small dance floor. Great salsa music 🎶 .Good occasional spot to go to.
Excellent place for Latinos, I loved it
Don Marco, formally known as Cielo lounge was a very popular spot for salsa music and dancing. unfortunately it has been taken over by some other promoters or DJs and all they play is South American music. Now I’m in for some Cuban Colombian, any kind of music and I enjoy it. but when you advertise that Friday and Saturday nights is salsa and Bachata night, you must play the correct music. Not speed up a Marc Anthony song and expect to be able to dance. The one song played was on high speed. Stop advertising “Salsa” if the DJ doesn’t play the appropriate music even after he was given suggestions. Knowledge is power! DJ must be able to play/know the difference in music styles.

Not a good place to be, the owner Mark and its inner circle of friends allowed women to be abused. My wife was assaulted by a friend of the owner and what happened? My wife and I were literally thrown out by the big black guy that works there. Not sure why the authorities hasn’t shutdown this place. It is dangerous to go there.
I know it’s not Cielo now, it’s Don Marcos Cantina but, I went here to celebrate my birthday with family and I regret it! My husband and I were asked if you wanted to buy a bottle for the table. Well they didn't have what we drink and the waitress was pushing my husband to buy Tito vodka which we don't like. We ended ordering circo on the rocks. Well, our drinks came to the table late with the ice half melted,my sister and brother in law got there before us, which were all ordered at the same time! We decided to order buckets of beer instead. After our table ordering two bottles of water and beer, I asked for a water for me. The waitress waited until my husband returned to the table just to tell him how much the water was and that I order it! After everyone else ordering and me only ordering a water!! I was receiving dirty looks from her and the she would put on a fake smile when my husband or boss was looking. Me and husband were dancing, and she had aggressively pushed me to the point my husband noticed that I was being targeted. My husband's seat was taking away after hours of sitting in the same spot. The waitress then tried to charge my mother for a drink my brother in law paid for on our tab and insisted my mom drank two, which was lying on her part! She also didn't bring back the change to my step father who paid for his tab, we had to bring it to the owners attention, change was then returned back! I have been going to this place since they were open and before rescued by bar rescue, but I felt very uncomfortable and disrespected. The waitress was very rude and disrespectful towards me, and those types should not even work in a place that is the verge of failure!!

Always wonderful! Bar fabulous with great views, all dining relaxing with incredible wait staff (especially Jeff!! and outstanding food. Filet, ribeye, lobster done perfectly. . A true gem! Traffic this year on Sanibel made getting there from where we are M-F difficult- but we made reservations on a Saturday. Amazing drinks!- we got a smoked Manhattan and smoked bourbon and later superb wines with the meal.- The ONLY problem was: I was jealous my husband got a blue duck in his Manhattan ice cube, and I did not! ?? I stole it from him later.
