This is a restaurant with five star quality food hidden inside a humble and simple layout. I was blown away by how high quality and consistent the food is, to the point where each dish would get a thumbs up from Gordon Ramsay, without exaggeration; indeed, it is genuinely as if they have a Brazilian Gordon Ramsay hiding in their kitchen quickly putting out five star food without any effort. Their yucca with beef is incredible, especially with a few drops of the complimentary hot sauce they have on their tables. Their bacon and sausage is the best I have ever tasted at any restaurant, and their bacon, having ordered it more than once, always comes out perfect every time. The eggs that my older daughter ordered were cooked perfectly. These things are not easy to do, and exceedingly rare to find! Their dulce de leche donut that my younger daughter ordered was made perfectly, I'm usually not a fan of dulce de leche but I was amazed how much I liked it when I had a taste of it, the pastry was so soft and delicious, and the filling was good too! I have never seen anything like this, at any restaurant of any type anywhere, to be this skilled and consistent with their breakfast foods. I also have to mention Esfania, who works there and took our order the first time my daughters and I ate there. She is kind, informative, helpful, positive, charming, beautiful, and helped educate us about the dishes there, even offering my daughters some samples without us even asking for them, in order to help us order what we would enjoy. Her customer service was a five star experience for us, and she is a credit to the establishment and deserves a raise; she is a true goddess. This location, if people knew how good the food was, would have a line out the door every day, and they really do deserve it. Five stars.

I felt robbed, unfortunately the price published on the menu does not correspond to what is charged, after questioning the increase they informed me that it is charged for the use of the card system, I understand that charging taxes at the time of purchase is normal and correct, but fees charged obscurely however it is a bit difficult to understand.

Issaac was behind the counter and welcomed us to the shop. In front of us were three distinct cases each with its own selections of amazing sweet goodness.

Behind the cash register counter was an Orange juicer, cashew juice dispenser and a coffee bar. Issaac walked us through several items and provides a couple of samples. They were all adventures in flavors and textures. The coffee with steamed milk was amazing. To our right were a few aisles of groceries, dry goods and cold dairy offerings.

Thank you Google for the referral and Issaac for such a great introduction to this Brazilian cafe. Took home some ides for dinner and our next day’s coffee.

This place is an absolute gem. It reminds me of a bodega. Food was fantastic. The, I assume owner, greeted us and showed us the menu, describing everything. We took a few of his recommendations and had a fantastic breakfast. Espresso was great, food was fantastic. Will definitely be back.

So...this isn't a 5-star place in the broad sense, but it is 5-star in its own context. It's not a place for a relaxing dinner or a date night. It's about as basic as a restaurant can get. But the staff were warm and friendly, the food was very good, and the prices were great.

This was my first time at Costa and I was amazed by the food and the way Edson and his wife treated me like an old friend. I came a long way to eat there and I was not disappointed.
