I want to start off by saying the guy who serviced me was super nice, however there were some things that seemed a little unsanitary. Regardless I took the chance and wish I hadn’t. The guy took seven minutes to get me the food ready. I was thinking okay it’s going to be fresh, but I WAS WRONG. The rice was so burnt tasting that he knew he should not put that on anyone’s plate. You could smell the burnt from the closed container. Then they advertised rice and beans, but that’s not what I got. The plantain was super dry yet I saw him fry it, so I’m not sure if he keeps refrying them or what. Nothing had flavor, and the pastelito of beef were super soggy. Would not recommend for 64 dollars, but again nice people

The greasy and salty alcapurrias, I bought cakes in sheets and it was throwing the money in the trash, I never saw something like that horrible ??it looked like vomit and they all fell apart in the water, only one was saved and it was very bad. The place is clean, yes.

Authentic Flavors at "Ay Bendito" Food Truck!Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting the "Ay Bendito" food truck in Pembroke Pines, after following them on Instagram for a while. Here's a detailed account of my experience:- **Mofongo with Fried Meat:** Without a doubt, the standout dish! The Mofongo was savory and just melted in my mouth. If you're visiting for the first time, I highly recommend trying this out.- **Pastelillos de Carne:** These were good, but there's some room for improvement. Perhaps a hint more of spices like garlic or pepper would elevate the flavor to the next level.- **Alcapurria:** The dough was on the sweeter side, possibly due to the addition of pumpkin or other ingredients. Personally, I lean towards the traditional preparation, which is mainly green banana-based.While my meal was overall enjoyable, there's some room for improvement, particularly in refining certain flavors. I'm giving them 4 stars primarily because I firmly believe in supporting local businesses. Moreover, I see potential in "Ay Bendito" and will certainly give them another try in the future. Here's hoping that they continue to refine their offerings, and I might even revisit this review with an additional star!(Note: Always keen to provide constructive feedback for small businesses, hoping to see them thrive!)

The best food in town (Puertoriquena) is a food truck, but no fast food it is worthy to try it

Had the chicken empanadas at a city event, and they were delightful!

The staff is very polite. I walked up when they would usually be closed and asked if they were still cooking and what the quickest thing to cook would be when they answered promptly and politely. Proceeded to order empanadas, The quickest and easiest dish as it was after hours. Found me that usually they would be closed but they stay open when people keep coming and ordering. Very sweet family-owned business. The food was excellent in cheap and cooked quickly to perfection. Maria and your Yojandris were amazing!

My husband and I have been coming to Ay Bendito for over 5 years. We come back every single time, usually with family and friends because the food and quality is EXCELLENT! However, there is another reason we keep coming back and that is Wanda's cooking. The seasonings, flavors, smells of her food dishes reminds us of home, our Puerto Rico. Everytime I eat her mamposteao de churrasco or any of her special dishes I am transported to my childhood memories and eating at my grandparents' house in Ponce PR. We love Ay Bendito!
