Had the eggplant parm and ziti today, it was fantastic. Service was also great.

I ordered a grilled chicken salad. The waitress was nice but the salad had no tomatoes or onions, very little cheese, and very little actual romaine lettuce.

Flies all over the place!!!!! After my last visit, I voiced my health concerns to the lady supposedly in charge. She would not answer me, and walked away from me!
I first went to this place a few weeks ago, and followed up with a couple more visits before writing this review. The flies make it very difficult to enjoy your food. The food is pretty good, but I think the place is not sanitary. This location is convenient for me. But I am not going back.
The restroom needs cleaning, which is a reflection of the kitchen. The servers are loud and pushy, and want 25- to 50% tip every time. The servers are spoiled, because many of the older retired people are intimated to give high cash tips. Just my observation…
You must pay your individual server, who expects cash. They charge a 3% credit card surcharge!
Each time I went to this diner, flies were all over me as I ate. The management should hang Bug Zappers on the wall. They just don’t care! I will not go back.

If you like to eat when it's 90 degrees or so inside the restaurant, and love 15 flies swarming around you and your meal, then this is your place. Food was mediocre at best. Server Savannah was awesome though. P.S. Had to rush home, with a not so good belly. Won't be back

It's a good place for breakfast and lunch, overall fair prices, but I was a little annoyed when I ordered an omelette and didn't want to toast or potatoes but was told no substitutions and I'd have to pay full price for an additional side, never been to a place that won't let you substitute in a fruit bowl or sausage, so they went to waste. My wife was also charge a dollar upcharge for French fries with her philly so I guess coleslaw is their default option, again never been to a place the doesn't include chips of French fries with a sandwich.

The food is very good , however my meal today was old and cold. The waitress was quite sassy in not a good way. I never got the things I asked for . I wanted lemon for my water told her 3 times never got lemon. Husband got coffee asked for creamer from 3 different wait staff and never got creamer . I have been going to this place for years and never had a problem but today's meal really sucked. It's sad that when one person doesn't follow through with there job it reflects badly on the business. Our waitress was seen 3 times 1 - to order , 2 - brought out food . 3 - give us the bill. I think she need to not be a waitress.

Sorry,but going downhill!
Last 2-3 times our food has been mediocre and orders have not been correct.
Tuna sandwich, a small scoop of tuna, no lettuce,no tomato, no taste. And since when is biscuits and gravy served,a dry biscuit on a plate with a scoop of gravy in a separate bowl.Ordered home fries, got hash browns. My toast was just warmed bread with so much butter it was literally dripping off.
Come on, step back up to the
Plate and get your act back together!
Too bad,it was our go to breakfast, lunch spot.

We have several times visited Grandpa's Diner and have yet to be disappointed. In fact, Grandpa's Diner is one of the best family-owned diners we have ever had the pleasure of eating at. We normally only have breakfast, and the food is very tasty, large portions, and the price is very, very inexpensive. Four of us can enjoy a wonderful meal for under $45, which includes the tip. The only downside is that it is soooo.... popular that the wait time can be 15+ minutes. One more thing, the wait staff are friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful.

Have been here over 20 times in the past 6 months (working in the area) and the service, food, and the prices are fantastic! Everything from the club sandwich, country fried steak, Ruben, meatloaf, prime rib... mmmm hungry again just thinking of them.
