Hurricane Grill & Wings-Promenade

Usually we love the place but the last couple times it's has really gone down hill, today being the worst and it was slow not busy at all. Once we sat the server dropped menus off. Took about 3 min for her to come back. Got our drink orders (there were only 3 of us) took 6-7 min to come back with those. We ordered right after that. Took 45 minutes! Yes 45 and I went in to cancel and pay for our drinks as food was finally coming out. I'm a server. There was no communication that there was issues with the kitchen. My drink was almost empty, no refill offered. The 2 servers that were on just wanted to stand at the bar and talk to the guys at the bar. I feel like there was no f*cks given to the rest of the customers. Yes the did offer for our food to be boxed and Togo, if I wanted that, I would have ordered to go. I did want to pay for our drinks but they said don't worry. Sorry but y'all need to step it up or you will loose more customers ?

What a embarrassing experience. Our food came out wrong. The boneless wings were inedible both times (we had them refired only to come out worse.

There is no staff present, no management that I could see.

Don't waste your time money here!

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME. The place was nearly empty, we waited 40 minutes and our food never arrived. When the waitress came out of the kitchen she wreaked of Marijuana.

It was not a busy night. Our food took forever. My fried fish was so over cooked that the fish was way past dry. The coconut shrimp was burned black. It was the worst meal that I have eaten out in aong time. I will not return. I knew that I should have gone to the Thirsty Turtle!!!!!!!

Have frequently visited this restaurant over the past couple years. Never had a complaint about anything. Today was an exception. Food was still good, service was perfect. The loud vulgar music was just barely tolerable. The constant profanity and screaming was so not necessary. "MF this and MF that"
The music was inside and outside the restaurant for the world to hear.
I believe I know why now the restaurant was empty at the height of lunch hour. It was just me and my father in law and we were embarrassed. Takes a lot to do that. Its a shame I thought I had a place I could frequent. Will not be returning.

Parking: Easy parking as long as you don't mind the walk.

Do not waste your money at this location. The service is horrible & the food will come out cold / disgusting. We couldn’t find any waitstaff, an over served guy at the bar walked into the back of the kitchen area to get one. We gave our order to the waitress & immediately the cook comes out front, sits at a table & smokes a cigarette… after waiting 15mins for the waitress at the end she comes to the table and asks us if it’s time to bring the check? Every person working there was truly clueless. We will never go back to this location

Best wings I ever had in a very long time. My compliments to the chef and the staff... Wings were the most crispy chicken wings we have add in a very long time. Rachel our waitress was amazing and the drinks well I will let you judge for yourself hahahah

We arrived at the restaurant around 6pm and while there we witnessed several members of the staff including the Bartender take shots. If this was my restaurant all of the front house staff would be fired. This is so unprofessional and being a customer witnessing this behavior makes me not want to return.

Janet & I went to the Hurricane Grill yesterday afternoon before hitting the Riverwalk for an after dinner stroll.
As expected, the menu was a bit pricey. My wife ordered the Hangover Burger, and I had the Smothered Burgerito. With the first bite, the prices started looking a lot more reasonable. Our food was superb!! Absolutely delicious.
Janet is notoriously hard to cook a burger for, so when she told our waitress that hers was done to perfection, I knew it HAD to be good!
We will most definitely be dining here regularly.
I highly recommend the Hurricane. The menu has something for everyone.

Enjoy this little cozy spot outside. This is my 2nd visit and I absolutely enjoy being outdoor. Outdoor seating and indoor. Easily accessible for anyone. Food was great. I enjoyed a chicken bowl that was prepared perfectly. Always enjoy my meal with a nice refreshing cold one. Service was very nice and quick. Definitely recommend this place during the day right before sunset and enjoy a pleasant atmosphere

We've sat outside at a table for over an hour and not one wait staff came out to see if we wanted anything. Incredible. Had to go in to order a drink, still no one, yet the wait staff we're standing around the servers station. There were no other people outside on this normal 6pm day. Incredible as being the worst restaurant experience
