I have lived here for almost 5 years. I moved from Broward where good Jamaican food can be found anywhere. Not so much here. I was in search of some good ackee and salt fish when I was referred here. They DID not disappoint. Now I'm ready to try other dishes like their oxtail. Oxtail is too expensive for trial and error and I've had a few errors lol.

A definitely my favorite Jamaican food place. The oxtails with rice and peas, the curry goat with rice and peas were excellent, the meat tender and fell right off the bones, very tasty food (my respects to the chef). We also had cake at the end which was also very delicious. Don’t be fooled by appearances I always say… the food was superbly cooked and the customers service was also a cherry on top. Thank you for your service and very tasty cooking!

This was the worst ackee and salt-fish I have had in my lifetime and the callaloo had a terrible after taste!

Island Flavor is a hidden gem of a Caribbean restaurant, and stepping into this husband and wife establishment feels like walking into a home away from home. The cozy atmosphere and good vibes immediately put you at ease, setting the stage for a delightful dining experience.

From the moment you walk in, you can tell that this place is special. The attention to detail in every aspect of the restaurant, from the decor to the service, is commendable. What truly sets Island Flavor apart is their authentic homemade drinks that perfectly complement the flavors of the Caribbean cuisine they serve.

The owners are down-to-earth people who are passionate about what they do, and this passion shines through in every dish they serve. The food is nothing short of amazing, with each bite bursting with authentic island flavors. It's clear that they take pride in their craft, and it shows in the quality of the food they put out.

If you're looking for a taste of the Caribbean that feels like it's been prepared with love and care, look no further than Island Flavor. Whether you're a fan of Caribbean cuisine or looking to try something new, this place won't disappoint.
