Island Flavor is a hidden gem of a Caribbean restaurant, and stepping into this husband and wife establishment feels like walking into a home away from home. The cozy atmosphere and good vibes immediately put you at ease, setting the stage for a delightful dining experience.
From the moment you walk in, you can tell that this place is special. The attention to detail in every aspect of the restaurant, from the decor to the service, is commendable. What truly sets Island Flavor apart is their authentic homemade drinks that perfectly complement the flavors of the Caribbean cuisine they serve.

The lady who was working was so nice. I am so happy I found somewhere with good oxtail in PSL. I will definitely be back! $10 for an oxtail lunch! I’m so happy I found this restaurant.

We just finished eating and the food was delicious. The jerk chicken was amazing! The lady in charge of the kitchen even came out to check if we needed anything, which we thought was very thoughtful and kind of her. The customer service really stands out, and both the food and prices were great.

Wagwan ……Nice little spot for some 🇯🇲 Jamaican food…..I had the Jerk 🐔 chicken lunch special $7.50…Yeah Yeah 🙌 !!! …… a good portion of food. It came with peas and rice, 🥬 cabbage/veggie 🥗 mix. Asked for ox 🐂 oxtail gravy on the 🌾 rice….. no problem ……food was flavorful and not too 🌶️ spicy. Jerk sauce was a blend of jerk and bbq sauce…… I will come soon again!! 💯

My husband and I enjoyed lunch here today. Nice & clean, friendly, great service and we enjoyed the music. We both had the oxtail lunch special so good and very filling. Thank you for the wonderful service. We will definetly eat here again.
Today I ordered the jerk chicken it was fall of the bone tender juicy spicy sweet and delicious with that rice and beans with that sweet and spicy sauce it doesn’t get any better than that.
I have lived here for almost 5 years. I moved from Broward where good Jamaican food can be found anywhere. Not so much here. I was in search of some good ackee and salt fish when I was referred here. They DID not disappoint. Now I'm ready to try other dishes like their oxtail. Oxtail is too expensive for trial and error and I've had a few errors lol.

A definitely my favorite Jamaican food place. The oxtails with rice and peas, the curry goat with rice and peas were excellent, the meat tender and fell right off the bones, very tasty food (my respects to the chef). We also had cake at the end which was also very delicious. Don’t be fooled by appearances I always say… the food was superbly cooked and the customers service was also a cherry on top. Thank you for your service and very tasty cooking!

This was the worst ackee and salt-fish I have had in my lifetime and the callaloo had a terrible after taste!
