This is the first time I’ve eaten ribs with a fork. The meat comes right off the bone. No sticky fingers at all. To me the ribs could have been a little bit tough, maybe that’s not the right word. I like picking up the bone and meat is still stuck to the bone a little. The meat had an oak flavor not hickory. This is my reason to give 4 stars

This place is very expensive for BBQ. The amount you pay for a little meat and small sides is astronomical. Because he cooks everything in the same smokers, everything tastes the same regardless of whether it's beef, chicken, or pork.
There are a few parking spots unless you block the pumps and access to the Sunoco Gas station ⛽️.
The owners are very argumentative if you have questions about the amount of food.
If you want real BBQ, there's much better places in Port St Lucie

Parking: Zero parking spots, unless you block the Sunoco gas pumps, and store parking.

Just to let folks know, this is a food truck parked outside a gas station with some benches.

Portion sizes were sizeable. Spouse and I got brisket basket. He said the onion rings were soggy. Brisket was salty. BBQ was definitely Sweet Baby Ray's. Fries were OK. A few items I wanted they did not have like Mac n cheese so that sucked. And no pound cake. That sucked more. Owners were nice.

Dietary restrictions: Very salty food!!

Parking: On the side of a gas station

Kid-friendliness: Not that evening. Guys were cussing and ghetto.

I tried Jones Old School BBQ twice, hoping for that Southern BBQ taste that reminded me of Fort Lauderdale. I spent around $170-200 on two visits, sampling a slab of baby back ribs, oxtail, Dino ribs, and a range of sides: mac and cheese, baked beans, collard greens, and fries.

The ribs were decent, about a 6.7 out of 10, and the sweet BBQ sauce helped cover up the lack of flavor. But the spicy BBQ sauce was overpowering, tasting mostly of scotch bonnet peppers without any depth or real BBQ taste.

The sides, however, were a complete disappointment. The mac and cheese tasted like it came from a box, with a thin, bland cheese sauce that lacked any richness. The baked beans were somehow dry and tasted like they were straight out of a can, lacking any smoky or savory flavor that good BBQ beans should have. The collard greens were overly salty and mushy, like they’d been sitting around too long. Even the fries were cold and limp, like they’d been made hours earlier.

On top of that, the service was subpar. The owner’s constant joking felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. Aside from one friendly older lady, the rest of the staff looked grumpy and seemed to have no patience or interest in good customer service. For what they’re charging, especially from a food truck, this was not worth the price at all. I won’t be coming back. The ribs are the only redeeming item, but not enough to make another trip worth it.

Hey y'all...You know i don't give top reviews if they aren't deserved, and these folks hit the mark!!! I've had some good BBQ in my time on this earth, but this was top competition level!!! I rolled up and asked what proteins they had left cause it was almost closing time. The guy told me they had some ribs. I said hook me up with a half rack dry. They were out quick and tasted like a ray of sunshine!!! They gave me a little cup of their BBQ sauce and 6 ENORMOUS ribs!!! I tore up 3 and was full...Even tasted the sauce with one of the ribs and SHAPOW!!! ON POINT!!! The pull was perfect, the mouth feel was amazing, they were tender and juicy all the way through, and the flavor was legit. The first thing that jumped out to me was how perfect the bark was... If you are in the Indian River or St Lucie County area, and are looking for some of the best tasting BBQ available then go see these folks!!! Take out or patio/picnic covered seating, and extremely friendly!!! I will 100% be back cause they are better then any of the BBQ restaurants in the area HANDS DOWN!!! Well done Jones Old School BBQ...Your food is the truth!!!!

My first time going and we got Ribs and Briskets. Both are fantastic, the meat fell off the bones, you don’t even need a knife. Usually I don’t like too much bbq sauce and I thought I made a mistake asking my ribs with bbq sauce but this sauce was delicious. Definitely Jones family are experts doing this.
Lástima que vivamos tan lejos!!!

I only remember a similar experience in Montana.

Absolutely the best ribs, that fall off the bone, and perfectly smoked as well as the best juicy tender brisket. The owner was sitting outside next to us and asked if we needed any extra napkins and he brought us a bunch of wet naps.

The seating is outdoors on picnic tables under a covered tent, so don't worry about rain or sun, you can come rain or shine. Note that they don't have drinks, however you can get it at the Sunoco Gas Station convenience store right next to it. I would highly recommend this BBQ place, you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely incredible food. The ribs literally fall off the bone. You don’t find good ribs very often down here in Florida but these guys do it right!! The BBQ sauce is sweet and thick and delicious as well. Couldn’t ask for more. Highly recommend!
