The service was actually the best part of the experience. Food was just average for a Kyle's family restaurant. If you're used to the standard at the spot by the water, don't go here with the same exact expectations. Oysters were great, wine list is really well done- on an ipad so that's cool. Entrees weren't anything to write home about and the lighting inside was way too dark. If you don't mind the drive to the island, just head out there for a Kyle G's experience instead.

It's a great place for date night or to have happy hour at the high tops or at the bar. The bar staff is super friendly and make the best lemon drop martinis.

I recently dined at Kyle G’s Oyster House & Wine Bar with my girlfriend and wanted to share feedback regarding our experience.
Upon ordering, I inquired about the price of a dozen oysters and was informed they were $21. After placing the order, our server returned to let me know that was the price for a half dozen. I understood this was an honest mistake and ordered a full dozen instead.
Unfortunately, several issues followed. The lobster on the sampler arrived ice cold, as did the butter and Old Bay dip, which were completely solid. The accompaniments provided—one cocktail sauce, one horseradish, and four saltines—were insufficient for the amount of seafood served (1 ½ dozen oysters, half a lobster, two shrimp, and half a dozen clams). I had to ask the food runners three separate times for additional condiments since our server was tied up with another table.
My entrée, the shrimp bowl, was severely overcooked to the point of being inedible. Throughout the entire visit, no manager ever came by our table to address any concerns.
I do want to note that our server was outstanding—attentive, professional, and the highlight of the evening. However, it was clear he did not have the proper support from the kitchen or management team, which impacted our overall experience.
Prior to this visit, I had spoken very highly of your restaurant to my girlfriend, and I was disappointed that the experience did not reflect the reputation I had described. The final bill was $246, and unfortunately, the quality of the food and lack of management presence left us feeling let down.
I’m sharing this feedback in hopes it is received constructively, as I know the high standards Kyle G’s is known for.

5/5 stars! Bill, our waiter, was absolutely amazing - kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. We stopped by for drinks and oysters, and everything was top-notch. The raw oysters with salt, lemon, and tobacco were a standout (10/10!), and the Rockefeller and Garlic Truffle butter options were also delicious. Special shoutout to Justin, the culinary mastermind behind our incredible oysters! We're already planning our return to try more of the menu. The Espresso Martini was a great touch too. Can't wait to come back!

Ok, so why such high start for good service and atmosphere? Well because I'm honest. My problems was because of what took place after. OK, so I took out my office for a nice dinner and discussion on the up coming year. Paid my bill which was upwards of $400. I used a credit card that I don't usually use out and only for business. It stays in my hands. Well of course I used at KGs. Wouldn't you know, 3 days later it was compromised. The only time this card has left my hands was for Kyle G's. I called them to notify and they were defensive stating there machines were encrypted. I clearly stated it wasn't encryption that was the problem. It was the person or persons who had access to my card. Now I have to go through hours of work, canceling my credit card, updating the business accounts. They would do nothing for me according to them at this time. I most likely would not be going their again. If you choose to make sure you use cash.

Went to Kyle G’s Oyster and Wine Bar for the first time and had an amazing experience. Abby was behind the bar and instantly made me feel welcome with her upbeat, friendly vibe. She was attentive without hovering and just really easy to talk to. The food was excellent, but Abby’s energy and hospitality are what made the night stand out. Definitely worth grabbing a seat at the bar if she’s working.

Very disappointed, my husband and I ordered the fish and chips. There was such an overwhelming smell of ammonia when I bit into the breaded fish it was stunning! I’ve never ever experienced anything like it and I know I’ll NEVER forget it. I actually googled it at the table, it says if it smells like ammonia, DO NOT EAT IT. So disappointing!

You can’t ask for better food, drinks, service and view. We live Kyle G for special occasions. We attend one of Kyle G’a four restaurants often. I am 100% certain anyone will going to Kyle G’s they will enjoy themselves. You will have to open your wallet when attending.
