The one star is for not being open. We went on Friday around 1ish and it was closed! We looked inside and no one was there plus they did not have a time frame from when they would be open to close. We did check out the website and it said it was open. So disappointing!!
I hate writing bad reviews, but the only way for a restaurant to make better food is to be honest. I am Peruvian. I enjoy trying out different Peruvian restaurants in my area. I dined at La Tradicion and was very disappointed. No flavor in the dishes I ordered. Lomo saltado dish. Frozen fries (you can tell) not fresh potatoes and the meat was cut and season incorrectly. Rice dry. The Papa a la Huancaina dish. Sauce no flavor and no spice at all. The sauce almost looked white. It suppose to be yellow color from the peppers. The (fried rice) arroz chaufa. That dish was dry and barely any chicken on the dish. The main problem with this restaurant is that there is no passion for Peruvian cuisine here and it shows in their food. It sucks because I would hate for people that are trying Peruvian food for the first time to come to this restaurant and think Peruvian cuisine is bad and tasteless because of restaurant like this that lacks passion. This restaurant is in a good location that can attract a lot of customers. This restaurant could be very successful if they just had passion for the Peruvian dishes they are making and sending out to customers.Wishing you the best of luck La Tradición.
All the food was very tasty, the chaufa rice had no flavor, I think they didn't add sesame oil, the milk flan was very fresh.
Food was OK. A bit pricey. Spent a lot of money for a dish that tasted like Chinese fried
Food was delicious! For an appetizer we had Papa al la Huancaina which were perfectly cooked. For dinner I had Lomo Saltado and my husband had Tallarin Saltado with steak. Both had amazing flavor and was delicious. We also tried the Peruvian lemonade which was delicious as well. It reminded me of a grape juice. For dessert we tried the cookies that had caramel in the middle. Also very good and made on premises. All of our food was served quickly and were good size portions. Our server Manuel was absolutely wonderful. He thoroughly explained the menu and spoke to us about Peru. Highly recommend and will go back.
Great food! Great service and great atmosphere! Fresh food, good portions and very clean restaurant with a good view into the kitchen. Family atmosphere, the owner Martin and his wife are very hands on and always there to make sure everyone is happy. The servers are also very attentive. Chris also does a great job. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for real authentic Peruvian Cuisine! Five Stars! ?
Was my first visit there, my daughter moved to Port St.Lucie so I came to visit, we ordered food and my Gosh..no disappointed..food was delicious, tasty.Highly recommend if you are from the area or just visiting.
This food was bomb! Great service as well!
The Aji de Gallina was absolutely mouthwatering. It is a beautiful restaurant with an inviting ambience. The owner and chef obviously care deeply that customers leave happy with a great experience. Will definitely return to try other dishes!
Wow. Very disappointed with the food. Pricing is nowhere near the taste or the quality.I ordered a seafood plate which came with 90% sauce and 10% seafood. It was not cooked properly.
Restaurantji Recommends
We live close by at Del Web so we wanted to try the new restaurant The whole wait team were very friendly and nice, the food was delicious. We didn’t know if we’d like it or not but we give it a 10 thumbs up. Very service and food. We will come back and we highly recommend it. Very nice and clean atmosphere We had the steak
So I’m not a fan of bad reviews but I gotta be honest. It was really expensive and the food wasn’t the best..you really got me when you said you had no milk for the coffee.. like what? Why would you serve coffee then lol. The ceviche was the best thing out of the 200+ bill..I’m only coming back if it’s only a ceviche, maybe dessert but 25$ for breakfast too? Come on. I know Port Saint Lucie is small so you don’t find these restaurants but still. I see myself spending 200+ at a steakhouse. Sorry guys but I’m just spilling the truth.
Excellent food. Consistent quality. This is a small batch mom and pop restaurant that takes pride in their food. If you want a short menu with excellent quality and flavor and make sure to stop on by.
Very tasty food. Thank you Chris and Milagros for your impeccable service. Im glad we have this restaurant near us ?. Recommended 100% !!
Small place but plenty of inside seating. Great waiting staff and amazing food. Totally worth the price. Wish there was more outside seating tho!
