food was mid, no different flavors from the foods. The oxtail just spicy flavor, no other flavor. cabbage taste the same. no real gravy just grease on the rice n peas. The stew chicken taste the same flavor just chicken instead of oxtail. I have had worse, so this was edible. Need to add some other flavor and brownin to thicken up the gravy maybe a lil sweetness other than just pepper spice. Beef patty was very old tasting.

I decided to try this restaurant since I’m new to the area and haven’t had Jamaican food since moving from NY. The experience was completely different from what I’m used to and not in a good way.

From the moment I walked in, there was zero welcome. I said “hi,” and no one even acknowledged me just stared at me like I didn’t belong. (Yes, I’m a light-skinned Dominican girl. Shocking, right?) The place didn’t feel clean, but I still gave it a try.

I had to wait about 4 minutes before the lady at the counter finally spoke to me only after finishing with another customer. I ordered oxtail, which came out to $17, and with tip I paid about $20. They also only offer medium or large plates, no small option.

While I watched her prepare my food, I noticed she kept digging deep into the pot for my oxtail, which felt odd, but I didn’t say anything I was too tired from work to deal with drama. When I got home and opened my meal, I was honestly shocked. For $20, I got the tiniest pieces of oxtail, some with no meat at all, plus 3 lonely carrot slices and one potato chunk. That’s it.

Between the unwelcoming vibe, lack of cleanliness, and being served scraps for that price, this was a complete letdown. Definitely not worth going back and would not recommend this place to anyone!

Lady P Jamaican Jerk is hands-down my favorite restaurant in Port St. Lucie! Every time I travel from Boston, this is always my first stop because the food is absolutely worth it. The jerk chicken is smoky, tender, and perfectly seasoned with just the right spice. The curry goat is rich, flavorful, and fall-off-the-bone delicious, and the beef patties are flaky, golden, and packed with savory filling. Of course, the rice and peas and sweet fried plantains bring it all together for a meal that feels like true home-cooked Jamaican food.

What makes Lady P’s even more special is the people. The staff is amazing—friendly, attentive, and welcoming—and the owner goes out of her way to treat everyone like family. You can taste the love and pride in every dish, and you feel it in the way they care for their customers.

The portions are generous, the flavors are authentic, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting with a true island vibe. Lady P Jamaican Jerk isn’t just a place to eat, it’s an experience—and it’s one I look forward to every single trip down to Florida. If you want the real taste of Jamaica with hospitality to match, this is the spot!

My husband & I decided to order takeout from this establishment. The food was edible but certainly not worth giving a rating or committing to seconds. I was given stale rice that was mixed in with fresh hot rice. And the chicken pieces that they doled out consisted more of bone than meat. I paid over $15 for a small chicken curry and given the above mentioned, I surmise I overpaid greatly. Go elsewhere.

Hours of operations is depending on how they feel that day I guess .

Didn’t look like an emergency and if you would have used your words to express that then this review would not have been submitted .

My first time ordering from this place. The rice was good however, if I get food poisoning by tomorrow it’s from that spoiled chicken legs that I got in my plate and I didn’t realize until I bit into it and smelt that it was spoiled… really disappointed cuz I was enjoying the rice and gravy
