Went there tonight as a party of 17 and they handled our group with ease. Tiffany was awesome.
First time at this restaurant. We were seated outside which is really very nice. The food was good but a bit pricey, to be honest. The most glaring issue is the lack of staff. The server we had was really lovely and professional but she was spread way too thin. The servers have multiple tables and obviously they have many tasks but I have never seen such a lack of food runners and bussers. The server was the one who boxed the food as well. I just think it looks really obvious that they don’t have enough staff. Comparatively; other steak restaurants have better quality food and far more people assisting.

Food was good but a little pricey. Also, there was a long waiting time on the weekend.

Didn’t honor reservation times, unhelpful and unprofessional hosting staff/management. Can’t rate the food because we left without being seated. Can’t charge big city prices without big city service.
Beware of the on line reservation. We reserved a time for New Year's Eve and found out we were bumped to eat outside. Called and there was nothing the restaurant could do. We ended up cancelling because they did not have outside heaters and it was going to be a cool evening. Fortunately we were able to get an inside reservation at another very nice restaurant. Not happy with Oak and Ember customer service and it's not the first time we have eaten there. Just call the restaurant for reservations to verify you get what you want.
Went for Christmas Eve because my mother was in the hospital. We decided to go there and had 8:00 reservations for “inside”
This is my 2nd time visiting one of these restaurants I visited Kyle G last time I was in Port Saint Lucie. The food at Kyle Gs was amazing and the service was as well. Back to Oak and Ember, I gave myself some time to write the review. I figured if it didn’t bother me after a few days that I would let it go. As a previous restaurant owner in NYC, and working for Daniel Bouloud, I just had to say something.
After waiting 30 minutes a family that was seated outside right before us spoke to a hostess about moving to the interior. When we were asked if we could sit outside I said I have no problem with that but I’m not dressed accordingly so if we get fast service I have no problem. She thanked me over and over. After being seated we waited 25 minutes for our server Emily. She took our drink order and that took another 20 minutes. By this time we were freezing. We placed our dinner orders. We weren’t served until 10pm. We saw couples and families that were seated after us actually leave before we even got our food. My sons who work at LeDistrict and Liberty Bistro in NYC were in shock that no one bussed the table next to us. We sat next to a dirty table the entire night. When the entrees finally arrived (my son ordered 2 entrees) so we had 5 entrees for 4 people which is generous and the food came cold. We asked immediately for the check when the food came because my partner was falling asleep at the table which was embarrassing and honestly I couldn’t blame him. All we did was wait and wait the entire night. I never had such awful service ever. Emily didn’t ask if anything was wrong when I asked for the check when the food arrived. If I had a staff member do such a horrible job I would make sure to make up for it as the manager but there was no visible manager. It was mayhem and our evening suffered because of bad service. For a restaurant of this calibre and this level of food, I’m sorry but you need to run a tighter ship on a holiday. Emily could’ve treated us with a dessert on the house but she didn’t want to be there, let’s face it she couldn’t wait for her night to end. It was a disappointment to say the least.
We had 2 half chicken entrees, the NY Stripsteak black n blu, the short ribs, and a filet mignon. We had 5 cocktails total, and one appetiser. I wish I could say something more positive but I didn’t get to enjoy the food at the restaurant. My sons ate the leftovers, but it wasn’t supposed to be “wait in the cold two hours and get the food to go”
This, after doing a favor for the restaurant by dining out when we had reservations for dining in did nothing for me but everything for the restaurant.

Took 33 minutes to get seated from time of reservation then another 10 minutes to get service once we were seated. Took off the appetizer from the bill but it was already half off anyway. Didn’t seem like much of a compensation.

The food was a little off compared to a previous visit. They seemed understaffed. I felt bad for the waitress she was doing her best. There were 13 of us. Our food came out too far in between each person. We were trying to wait, but the food was getting cold. If someone is in the have to spend so much money for a private room, it needs to be a little better than that evening.

Just had Thanksgiving dinner here. Had the Turkey. Quality was good but arrived room temperature. So did all the other meals at the table. Out of pumpkin pie... it's Thanksgiving! I also believe the value is not there. Cost far outstrips quality. Service was good.

Went for my wife’s 55 th birthday
Was not busy; many many empty table and yet we waited over 25 minutes for entrees after appetizers.
No prices listed for sides; $15 for Brussels sprouts!
No prices listed or mentioned for adding scallops; $15 per scallop?
Never advice def at all that there was a “Service Fee” added to bill Funny thing is we ate at sale location for Mothers Day this year..no such thing so it s obviously new.
Waited forever for my bill after I asked for it and had to go hunt down my waitress to ask for it a second time and watched her service tables while we sat waiting to pay and leave.
Manager walked around to tables checking on patrons several times around us and she never stopped by our table at all. She checked on tables next to and behind us but never our table. I don’t k ow why but was very very disappointed after spending over $500 on dinner for three.

We Ate at Oak & Embers on Becker Street in Port Saint Lucie December 1 for dinner. The inside and outside dining areas are beautiful. The bar area is way too small - only 8 stools for the bar. Food was very good but overpriced for what you get. Table server as excellent. We had drinks at the bar before dinner. The Bar experience was not good due to the stingy bartender. The martinis were only 3/4 of the way full. Even after I said something to the bartender, he explained to me that the drinks were the correct size and that I was incorrect. We ate at Sailors Return 2 nights earlier and had the same exact drink and it was filled to the top up to the rim of the glass as all martinis always are. I told the bartender that but he said the other restaurants are filling it too high. So I won’t be coming back here again and will go to restaurants that are making the drinks “incorrectly “. The funny thing is that the Oak and Embers in Stuart, gave proper sizes in the drinks we had when we dined there last year.

Showed up on Veterans Day today at 6:30
Over 5 indoor tables and 7 outdoor tables open. My friend is a marine veteran, they turned us away and said reservation only, we went to Italian restaurant next door. Every outdoor table is still open and restaurant is slowly emptying out. Pathetic way to treat a veteran

I went in with my partner tonight & I was blown away by the service. Shout out to Ashley!!! It was our first time here, but she made us feel at home. I don’t normally write reviews, but I had to go out of my way to give credit where it’s due. Thank you Ashley and Oak & Ember for a great night, along with great service!

Never have I ever in the over 20+ times ive came to a Kyle g restaurant have I EVER experienced a Morse worse time … im not even one to place google reviews but the quality of food and even service we received we were sat not only did it taking over 15-20+ minutes to get our drinks but it took OVER 45 minutes to receive our food not only did it take 45 minutes but I had to chase down ANOTHER server to get mine.. I asked for status on why our food was taking so long as it was already 10pm we arrived at 8:45 mind you not but when I asked our server I was given a “well they’re cooking your steak correctly they said another 2-3 minutes if you want it cooked correctly I can have them rush it “ I informed her it’s a common medium well steak ? Never took this long previous times I even asked for clarification and was given back a HORRENDOUS ATTITUDE .. I decided to let it go proceeded to request for the manager once the food came out and was told “it takes 30 minutes to cook a medium well filet ….. “ ?? WHAT !!? Where !!!?! lol
So I said I’ve never had an experience like this here we have came PLENTY of times informed him of the waiters attitude and how dissatisfied I was still nt even offered a solution as I went to eat the food that at this point took OVER an hour to come .. MY FOOD WAS EXTREMELY OVER COOKED !! our waiter never came back the manager AFTER I sent my burnt food back and just requested our bill to leave then came to say he got done yelling at the kitchen staff lol just crazy never have we ever been so unsatisfied with a Kyle g restaurant smh so disappointing

I’ve ate at this location many times & October 19th 2024, was by far the worst experience I’ve had. I had reservations for 9PM & my food didn’t come out until 10:10 PM. Not only did me and my wife wait over an hour for food but the food was overcooked and burnt & the Manager Brian had nothing but excuses. He as a leader of his staff showed no care or remorse just full of excuses. This is unacceptable as Kyle Gs doesn’t charge your for a Happy Meal. I will probably never revisit this location until management is changed. Ashley is terrible and full of attitude. She should take accountability towards the way she treats her guests. She checked on us 1 time in the hour we were here and should probably change professions
