Ruffinos Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria

At last we found our go to for Pizza! It was a long search. You can’t go wrong with their pies. Ordered it well done and it was perfect. It was even better the next day headed up in the oven. Looking forward to trying other things on the menu.

Updated: ordered three more times since the review. I think it’s gotten better each time. This is definitely our go to spot. Thank you Ruffinos !!!!

Best tasting pizza I’ve had in Port Saint Lucie thus far (coming from an NY native)!! Service is outstanding and the place is cute and quaint. It’s busy so you know it’s good.

I was so disappointed when I received Tortellini Da Vinci, there was a massive number of tortellini, a few mushrooms, and barely any shrimp which is why I ordered it. We order frequently from Ruffinos, great food, service, and delivery, but I won't order that again..

The best Italian food in PSL. This restaurant is owned and run by an Italian family, and their food is as good as any, and this is coming from someone who was born and lived in NY. Prices are ok, and the dining room and atmosphere is very good.

Chicken Cacciatore is my favorite here.

Tucked away in an average everyday shopping center, I'll officially declare this Italian restaurant a Port St. Lucie hidden gem. Ruffinos Italian Restaurant is, in my opinion, the best Italian restaurant on the treasure coast. I have been visiting regularly for the past year and I must say every time we visit the food and service is always amazing. If you plan on visiting this place, make sure you come hungry. Their portion sizes are large and worth the cost of whichever entrée you choose "they are not overpriced, their prices are very fair". A true mom and pop place as well with the same consistent friendly staff there whenever we decide to go. I highly recommend this place to get your Italian cravings fixed!

Food is really good!! One of the best in the PSL area. Tried them twice, once in restaurant and once delivery (restaurant has their own delivery service). 10 out of 10, highly recommend.

Worst experience we’ve ever had. I am shocked this restaurant has a 4.3 rating. The utensils and plates were absolutely disgusting and it is a shame the employees are okay serving people with these in that condition. Our waitress, which I will keep her name private, was okay but didn’t pay much attention to us. We felt that she did the bare minimum while taking care of us. The food was subpar and didn’t have much flavor. The cuisine was about as “Italian” as Carrabba’s, if not worse. If you like Golden Corral quality food, then this is the place for you. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. I would highly recommended going somewhere authentic like Gigi’s.

Edit: we never even talked to the server about the terrible food. We talked to the busser who was very nice and way more attentive.
We never said the mussels were “mushy”, just flavorless but still edible. Again, I never complain and if you check my review history you will see that. Me being pregnant has nothing to do with how terrible your food is. The silverware was disgusting and had to be sent back, the veal dish was also subpar and had a hair in it, and the risotto was extremely mushy and the scallops literally were so bad that they had to be spit out. 2 other people tried the dish and couldn’t even handle how awful it was. My 3 year old took some spaghetti home, but no one else took a single thing because all of our food was not good. We weren’t wanting to complain about everything and only brought up one dish that was inedible. The way you handled the situation was extremely disappointing.. especially when it is Mother’s Day and I was crying because I felt bad complaining and you were being extremely rude to us. I was very nice the whole time and only asked for the one meal to be taken off.

We ordered the bruschetta and a calzone for delivery after a long day of traveling from New England. The food was amazing! Very authentic Italian flavors, it was so good we couldn’t stop eating. Delivery was very fast as well. We will be recommending!
