Sam Snead's Tavern

Well let's see. I've visited a good Sam Snead's in Orlando. This one is below expectations. They should close it down, fire all the staff, hire new management, then start again. Or better yet, put a waffle house style restaurant there, at least the price would go along with the quality.

Food is good, service not so good.

Think they are just waiting for the change over and remodeling. It was a very average dinner and felt pricey for what we had. We will wait until new restaurant comes in and try it. It sounds like it will be updated and very nice.

I love the service, the food and the atmosphere. They have a great flatbread, although I can’t find it here on the menu All the food has been consistently good. Very convenient for us. We’ve been here several times and always know everything will be consistently good. Prices are very reasonable.

Located inside the Hilton Garden Inn PGA Village, this place offers a variety of food choices and a wonderful breakfast (menu items and buffet). They have a very long bar area for seating and some booths. The food servers and hostess were very pleasant, accommodating and friendly at breakfast and dinner. We will be eating there again on our next stay at the hotel! :)

Minor wait but otherwise good food and service. I enjoyed my steak. Salad was very good. My wife's sometimes limited in her choices but found the menu good in both variety and content

Great food and very convenient to the Sheraton where we stayed. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and all were very good.

The chef at sam sneads restaurant is amazing. He made me a special request because im sick. Id give him more than 5 stars!

The crab cakes were good. The prime rib was reheated, but served med rare and tender.Service was terrible,food was waited 15 minutes for our check, got the check and then waited about 15 minutes more. We were over charged.Check your bill.

the food is good but the prices approach those of NYC so not going to return. Up to you though if you dont mind the prices

Went there for happy hour was given full prices and didnt remove the old charges. asked for a house Cosmo gave me 13$ grey goose. they will rip you off. will file a complaint next with BB . training staff to steal

Convenient to several hotels (including inside the Hilton Garden Inn) and timeshare properties. Just off the 95. Friendly staff. Not crowded on a Sunday night. Beware - menu on line doesn't match up with what is offered at the restaurant. Reasonable prices.

I've never had a 1/2" thick Rib Eye before, but it was cooked rare as ordered.

Wow. Couldn't be much worse. Just, wow.

We were a group of 14 and we wanted a Thanksgiving dinner in a restaurant, so that no one family got stuck with the prep, serve and clean up afterwards. Well Sam Snead's absolutely filled the bill. First came the greeting by our server Gayelene (an excellent server), then the drinks and bread & butter service. Next came the salad (very good) served family style. There was a special menu for Thanksgiving. One choice for salad. There were 4 entree choices. turkey, ham, salmon or prime rib. Side dishes included mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans and carrots. Dessert was a small slice of pumpkin pie and a small slice of pecan pie and a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. Everything was delicious, by virtue of the fact that as the dishes were being cleared, all the plates were empty. I would have prefered apple pie as a dessert, but it was not available. I did talk to John Lynne the manager about the pie, he said "we will have it next year". I am already looking forward to next year. Since we were there for a special occasion with a special menu, we really don't know what their regular menu is like. My wife and I will be going back soon to try the regular menu.
