Side Door has a great selection of beers, but I can say that about many places. What sets them apart is their staff and owner. Matt and Billy are unlike any other brewery staff, and people in general, I’ve ever met. They are so incredibly helpful and friendly. They are truly a customer-focused brewery and you notice it as soon as you walk in. This brewery has such a welcoming atmosphere that you feel like family here. If you are in the area, swing in and have a few drinks. You will not regret it. They also have a great selection of event nights that you will love!

Love to visit Matt and have the best craft beer in Port St Lucie

In my taxonomy, there is a spectrum of brew pubs, ranging from "Business Plan" breweries - where recruitment of the brewmaster is almost an afterthought - to "Destination" breweries, where the beer is of a quality to warrant scheduling a layover in a nearby'ish airport for the sole purpose of a side trip to have a pint or two. The Brewmaster at Side Door comes from a lineage of Kentish brewmasters dating back to Tudor England. The first beer I sampled was their FreudSchluck, an adroit blending of Viennese with English pub nuances... and it was immediately obvious this is a place where the beer comes first. And instead of watching the game du jour on TV it was interesting to see the Brewmaster working on a restoration of an old beer engine, for drawing non-pressurized cask ales. I'll be returning to Port St Lucie around November 1st when it goes into service for an English bitter currently in process.

As a self proclaimed beer snob I can confidently say all of the beers are on point, even offering a great selection of guest taps and selections for those non beer drinkers. The new owner/brewer is a great guy, very passionate about what he does and makes you feel like family. So excited to see word spread about the new and improved Side Door!

Small spot..but Matt is a great owner and brewer. He's also doing some upgrades and adding a lounge. I'll be back for some good ales lagers and ipas

Second time here the atmosphere has changed from last year definitely will be coming back to try some of the new beers on tap, met Matt, great guy knows his beer and has an awesome vision for his brewery. Good luck ?

Nice place to enjoy nice beers! Love the peach flavored beer, Vienna Ale and IPA.. They also serve Wine. Matt the owner is very welcoming.

Stopped by today on my personal brewery tour...so glad I did! They brew some great beers here! Updating the interior which will be outstanding when it's done. Reminisced with a fellow Clevelander about our Rock and Roll Capital of World experiences which made the visit historical for me. Check them out...The best craft beer is here for sure.

Awesome beers, wonderful & friendly owner & staff

Stopped in yesterday while in town and really enjoyed it. Good selection of in house beers and also guest taps. The new owner was bartending and was super friendly. Definitely will stop back in next time we are in town!

Great little spot. We stopped in a couple of weeks ago. The power was out for the plaza (someone ran into the power line), but the bar tender was welcoming and the beer was cold. Very friendly group - sharing info in the beer, upcoming brews, and tips on local restaurants. We’ll definitely be back.
