As a connoisseur of Mexican cuisine, I recently decided to try out Taqueria Montano's Mexican Food in search of some flavorful tacos. However, my experience left much to be desired, prompting me to share my honest review with fellow food enthusiasts.I opted for the chicken tacos and fried pork tacos, eagerly anticipating a delightful meal. Unfortunately, what arrived was far from satisfying. Both dishes were drenched in excessive grease, leaving an unpleasant residue on my fingers with every bite. The meat itself was subpar, lacking the tenderness and flavor I had hoped for. In fact, it can only be described as "trashy," failing to meet even modest expectations. While the service wasn't terrible, it fell short of being memorable. Despite ordering takeout, the staff seemed indifferent and failed to convey any genuine appreciation for my patronage or tip. It's disheartening when a restaurant fails to recognize the importance of every customer, regardless of whether they dine in or take out.Regrettably, my experience at Taqueria Montano's Mexican Food was underwhelming, to say the least. The lackluster food quality combined with indifferent service leaves me with no desire to return. In a city filled with exceptional dining options, I'll be taking my cravings elsewhere in the future.

March 13, 2024-food is still good, service however leaves something to be desired. Silverware was wrapped up and stuck to food, out of all diet products and they are charging a service charge for parties of 4!

Authentic!! Completely unpretentious authentic Mexican food that is made fresh and served quickly with friendly service!! It is tucked away and not corporate driven with greed it seems! You can certainly taste the difference!! Having loved Mexican food all my life, I’ve eaten so much and this one is always fresh, not mass produced, and locally owned and operated by a caring owner it seems, unlike many others!! Makes a huge difference for me in where I spend my money! Think they need more signage or something as it’s easy to miss and get into, but Very good!! Thanks for the wonderful meals.

My boyfriend & I's favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. If you are looking for AUTHENTIC Mexican food, this is 100% the place to go. Going here always feels like home.

Great food - excellent service - be sure to try the churros sunday for dessert! Ambiance isn't anything special but very comfortable seating and a family atmosphere. Will definitely go again!

While the service was good, the tacos were bland and they tried to over compensate for the 2 shreds of steak with a handful of cilantro on each taco. Chips and salsa were complimentary but the “salsa” was the same flavor and consistency of week old pico de gallo with sugar in it. Dont stop here, save your money and go somewhere else!

Tacos were plain and a bit smaller than average, they overdo/ cut quite large on the cilantro, and the salsa was sweet soupy pico? Overall for the price it's okay.

3 dollars for a taco with a 75 cent surcharge for sour crème. Absolutely ridiculous. If this place was in Mexico the owners would be thrown in jail.

This restaurant has Mexican street tacos and birria. That was all i was interested in and i got some carne asada tacos and al pastor on this visit. The salsa has cilantro stems in it which gives it a strong cilantro presence if you are into that. Me personally it makes my mouth water too much where i feel nauseous but the tacos were priced like most mexican spots 2-3 bucks. I wont tell them what to charge but for the most part they have decent food great service. If you are in the area you can get these tacos or drive down further on us 1 for casa amigos for a little better deal for your money. They are kind of in the same price range but casa has more flavor for me and the chips and salsa slightly taste better for me. But solid mexican option.

Missing a taco. For a $25 order this shouldn't happen. Meat was dry and overcooked/old. Rice bland. Beans are 100% canned. Prices are too high for bad quality and short cuts. Do

My mexican wife and I went here on our continuing search to find good mexican. This place is freaking amazing. BEST TACO AND BURRITO PLACE ON THE TREASURE COAST! Roberto was also an excellent service provider and really went out of his way to take care of us. Highly recommend .

If you are looking for authentic Mexican food, look no further. Family run restaurant. Love the food. I am usually the only non-Latin American in the place- friendly folks, great food.
