I’ll admit the atmosphere was ok, but the food was terrible! I ordered a mango magic smoothie (notice the mango in that name) and when I received to smoothie, not only was it watered down but I could only taste the pineapple, which was really disappointing because mango is one of my favorite fruits. I also ordered a jerk chicken salad, but the salad was dry and tasted nothing like jerk, it honestly just tasted like a salad I can pick up from Publix! Normally I would love tropical cafe, but this is the first time I was at this location and honestly, it was not worth the money! Please don’t waste your time and choose another location, so disappointed rn.

The store was a little dirty, I could see the dirt on the wall behind the counter/register. Place was dead, staff was nice, but i didn't see any hand washing happening. The guy behind the counter was super nice, but his shirt was filthy, i get it but for some that can be a turn off when getting food/beverages. There was something on the blender in the clean station i couldn't tell if it was on the inside or outside, but either way it was still stacked inside of another clean blender. One drink wasn't even full to the top which is a disappointment being that now the smoothies are almost $8 ($7.91) Smoothies were okay(4/5) but the cleanliness and missed portion is a bummer.

I am not sure if the employees at this location are malicious or they just don't care, they are not friendly at all . The biggest problem I have is they ask for a "Tip" before they give you service. To me that's not a tip but instead a pay supplement . So is.the service I receive based on the amount I give them? Because if so it should be clear before I order that that is the case . I ordered the same thing I have ordered from that place for 10 plus years Island green smoothie and a chicken pesto flatbread. When I got home realized I had received a southwest quesadilla which I personally don't like beans in a quesadilla so I ended up tossing most of it. I get it mistakes happen but I am mostly concerned at the attitude of the employees, and I gave a tip is the sad part the only solution I can come up with is not to return because I am not sure as to the reason the employees are contempt and I'm not sure of the distance they will go because if it because there is no supervision.

Ordered online at 3:55pm for a 4:15pm pick up. Got to the Cafe at 4:17pm. The young lady at the smoothie counter took a few minutes to even acknowledge me, and simply greeted me with a "We don't have food, only smoothies." I kindly explained I had already paid for an order online for a wrap and smoothie. It took another 15 minutes of waiting to get my food (meanwhile, unbeknownst to me, my smoothie was sitting there waiting the whole time). When I got home, I realized there were no chips and there were beans on my wrap. I drove back to the store to request a refund (since the "chef" left at 4:30) only to be told they cannot issue refunds without the manager present, gave me a phone number to call, and had me throw the wrap away in the trash by the door. I have called and left a message twice and still have not heard anything.
