One of the best Japanese restaurant in SW Florida, the Japanese owner is also a chef but watch out when it is busy he gets moody. You need to prepare at least one hour waiting so bring book, ipad or games. I visited this restaurant again under new owner, the food are fine but the price little bit high.

It was blah. I ordered the Tonkatsu Ramen. I asked about it and the server told me it was either a powder or paste base . I should have known better than to order it. It was one dimensional , $17, and skimped on the pork and other toppings . The service was friendly , however I received a steamed gyoza instead of fried. I tried it but won't go back . Prices should be proportional to the quality .Kid-friendliness: Not really kid friendly

So glad that this Japanese restaurant has reopened in Punta Gorda. Our group of 6 went for lunch today, and had a wonderful experience. We ordered a variety of foods - sushi, sashimi salad, teriyaki chicken, sushi rolls, chicken Yaki Udon noodles - and all of it was very good. The service was fast and the folks working there very friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
