9 Best Burger Restaurants in Punta Gorda

“Went to Burg’r Bar about 5 weeks ago before having shoulder surgery. We loved it. Best burger and fries I’ve had in Florida. We sat outside and our server was great!!! Why do people write about how great it was and then give it 4 stars instead of 5??? I’m in Punta Gorda today (3/18/22) and as soon as I get done with my final post op appointment, we’re headed to the Burg’r Bar again!!! YUM!!!“

“Arrived Saturday, 2/22, evening at 8:30pm and got stated. Was walked by three different booths with hostess until ahe finally found one that wasn't dirty. After being seated, we sat 15 minutes while being completely ignored and watched a waiter and waitress walk by us four times without even acknowledging we were there. They had plenty of time to keep going back to the booth next to us full of teenager. Hostess could care less that we were leaving. We used to love always going here but, no more! Place has definitely gone downhill. New management is very much needed. Went down the street to Applebees. We were seated and taken care of within 2 minutes.“

“Hey everyone I found this cute little place in Punta Gorda called Family Grill on 41. They serve breakfast and lunch. They are open 7 days a week 7 am to 2pm with exception of Friday they are also open 430 to 730pm. They have the best food, such a variety, big portions and tasteful. Also very affordable. Can eat inside or outside. Great atmosphere. Servers were very attentive and personable. Also the owner was present and super kind and attentive as well. Takes pride in what he does. “We were seated quickly.. our waitress was spread thin and it was seen in no utensils, no refills of coffee, looking for our own sugar for the coffee,the long wait after we received food for the rest of my breakfast.. she was friendly though and that was appreciated. The good was hot and tasted great.. pancake with cheddar bacon omelette, blueberry pancakes and fried eggs, bacon and sausage links . Highly recommend visiting here for a good breakfast.“

“You can't even go in. There are no trash bins outside. The birds were fun to feed, although it kinda turned into an Alfred Hitchcock film pretty fast!

Parking: Loads of parking but you do have to go west when leaving and make a u turn at the lights if you are getting back on I75“

“If a McDonald's can get 5 stars, this is it.
My food was hot ,fresh ,and made right. The cashier and crew members were not only polite, but they all seemed to be having a good time while getting the job done.
Now about the trophy, this loccation won against 19, I did say 19 other McDonald's for excellent service .
In order to be awarded this trophy, your drive thru times must be consistently under 2 munutes, from the time the cashier takes your completed order at the drive thru until it is passed over the 2nd window to you. This is based on the number of cars served ( think HUNDREDS thru the day) . hourly sales, total sales for the day and mistakes made.
This mistake could be anything from ringing something in wrong( effects your DT time or making an expiditing oops while filling your order.) Remember ,you only have 2 minutes to complete the order and it reaches you and yours in your car.
So what does all this mean to you? Hot fresh food( bc they serve enough ppl that your sandwich isn't spending time under the lights getting dried out and gross) 2. The management is fair, competent, and prob.fun to work for. How do I know this? Easy they have staff, which means you don't have excess prob. with turnover . No one wants to work for ungrateful obnoxious boss . Good management shows and translates to happy employees and, in this case, good food ,and it shows . Great job

Parking: Not too bad.
