El Guero Tacos in Punta Gorda blew me away, these are hands down some of the most authentic Mexican tacos I’ve had in Florida. The carne asada was grilled to perfection, tender with a slight char, packed into soft yet slightly crispy tortillas that tasted fresh off the comal. Topped with chopped onions, a generous heap of fresh cilantro, and that squeeze of lime it all came together perfectly. You can tell they don’t cut corners; everything tasted legit and made with care....
The carne asada was the best I've ever had. The steak is seasoned perfectly, and it's tender! Will definitely be back! My husband had the carne asada steak fries and loved it.
Delicious. Authentic. Simple. flavorful. They were even happy to make mine keto friendly by turning it into a salad for me. They have picnic tables with napkins and hand sanitizer under a cute shady tree. It was a perfect spot to start out on our road trip. Definitely will be back.
