Our server was not too knowledgeable about the food and was not friendly. Maybe she was shy or new? Food definitely not worth the money! Small portions, and the bread roll was almost raw.

Pizza was not good at all. We will probably not be back. Service was not that great either.

So yummy! The ricotta/spinach pizza is our favorite! Chatted with the owner, Charlie. (who was the one to step up last year for us and donated a dozen pizzas to Crossroads Hope Academy last Halloween.) So personable and even shared some of his secrets for "sauce".

I ordered a pizza here last weekIt was my first experience with this restaurant. When I arrived I was impressed with the decor, and ambiance of the facility. The staff was friendly, and efficient. The Pizza was ok. I ordered a New York style with pepperoni, mushrooms and onions. I was impressed with the amount of pepperoni, but disappointed with the other two items. The mushrooms, and onions were just bits and pieces. They added nothing to the flavor. We really irritated me the most was the "extra charge"for using a credit card. I guess they felt the need to imitate the gas station strategy of screwing you. This place isn't cheap. To me it's an outrageous practice.

I got to finally get out to this place with the wife.Charlie is the owner & such a nice guy. We had a nice discussion about what makes pizza good in Florida. Or should I say, how to make pizza food in FL.my experience here in FL has been horrible with other places. The crusts are either burnt, or undercooked, too much cheese in the center, with no body to the crust. This place does not disappoint and is the real deal. The crust had great flavor, crisp, cheese to sauce ratio was great too.I would ask for it to be a bit more well done next time, but that's my preference.I tried the pasta with meat balls and that was just fine.Give them a try for sure. And if you got a sweet tooth, try his cannolis

I recently dined at The Dough Bar Restaurant for the Charlotte County Chamber of Commerce "Networking at Noon" Lunch and was thoroughly impressed. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that our dining experience was enjoyable from start to finish. Now, onto the pizza itself – it was nothing short of perfection. Over 60 Chamber members were served quickly and efficiently. Overall, I highly recommend Dough Bar Restaurant in search of a memorable diningexperience.

Hands down the best Italian food in town for the price! I absolutely love the wood fired pizza and the fried mozzarella is out of this world! You can definitely tell they don't cheap out on their ingredients! I definitely recommend trying the home made cannolis or Italian cheesecake! Also they just got gelato and that's amazing too! The staff is always very pleasant and more than helpful! If you haven't tried this place yet, you should!!!

Food was horrendous! Pizza was super dry and flavorless. Tried to use the marinara that came with the garlic knots (undercooked), and it was bitter and nasty! Couldn't even finish a slice. Don't waste your money! Go to Bocca Lupo or Jets, or hell, even Little Caesars, before coming here!
