Downtown Gatorz Bar And Grill

Food was good, service was HORRIBLE. Our server claimed to be a "manager" and yet was completely inattentive to our needs as customers. What bar does NOT have sliced lemon?? We spend half the year here and will never go back!

Love our local bar. Great live music great prices in and outside bar. Very low key.

It's like going to the corner bar with great bar foods. Staff is very attentive. Large menu selection. Recommend the wings.

We came here from Cape Coral, after our son's football game in Punta Gorda. We were starving! The food was so good and for being served at 830pm. The bar and karaoke were rocking outside. Our server/bartender, was so sweet and attentive to our 4 boys. The restaurant was clean and cool. It was nice to see the pool tables and games were separate from the main dining area.
It was all around a great experience! We will be back!

Went to Downtown Gatorz this past weekend, 8/10/24 ...8/11/24 . The Burgers and Fries are great, the service was great, the drinks were exactly what we ordered. DJ George was doing Karaoke on Sunday and he is the best. That's the good... The bad is the smoking. The smoke in the outdoor bar area where they have the music is not good. Only 11.3% of people in Florida smoke, I guess that they need a place to enjoy their habit, but it sure does stink. And it keeps the other 88% of the population, with money to spend, away from the place. A few people always try it, like our group of 5 this time, but it can't be our favorite place to enjoy an evening out with Karaoke, because of the smoke. Hey Gatorz,, can you do a non-smoking Sunday evening once a month? You'll pack your place with customers. I know this because I've seen it before. A Famous smoking restaurant in TN finally decided that the 21% of smokers in TN was keeping everyone else away. When they finally went non-smoking, the crowds were non-stop. Just a suggestion, the smokers need to quit anyway.

Our experience last night was an unexpected shock, one you wouldn’t expect from the manager herself. Sandra brought our food out, and when we asked for the mayo that was ordered, she was very nasty and said “I’m not your server” when asked if she could tell someone then, she rolled her eyes and walked away. Just a nasty attitude, and snotty. Our waitress was very apologetic. Sandra stood at the bar talking throughout our entire dining and playing on her phone. When we were done she asked if we needed a box. My friend said “I don’t know how to respond to that because you’re not our server” Sandra smiled and said “I’m the manager” to which I said “I know, and your behavior has been disgusting” Sandra just rolled her eyes and walked away. Someone with this behavior, as if customer service is beneath her, should not be in a management position

Worst place in town. If you sit at even a half empty bar, you will have a very hard time getting service. I can't remember the last time I got up and left at a restaurant. This place made me do it.
