Love downtown gators. One of our favorite hangouts. Alex and Britt are the best. Other wait staff are amazing as well. Food is always good. And love the atmosphere.

We had a large group of 28 people at Downtown Punta Gorda Gators for dinner and were very pleased with the quick accurate service and delicious food. Our waitress Zoie was exceptional!

Gators is a dump!!! The service is the worst!!! That is the worst restaurant I ever been in, the waitresses see ya, not even to bring you menu's they walk right pass you like your not even there, even the bartender seen us sitting there not a word from her lousy and disgusting atmosphere!!!

Very poor service. I was told by the bartender that this was due to it being, “social hour”. Sat at the bar for much longer than I should waiting for the bartender to finish her conversation so I could order a drink. She stopped her conversation just long enough to take my drink order and then proceeded without asking me about a food menu. I would have liked to have eaten being that it was my first time at the bar and I wanted to try the food. At that point however, I had lost any confidence that I was going to get any sort of service so I asked for my bill and left. Never going back. Steer clear of this place

We have been here quite a bit and the food never disappoints, always good! But service was always very slow, but today we had Maddie and she did amazing! She was so attentive and very sweet, never let our drinks go empty, I hope we get her every time we come to eat here because she was fantastic!

Food was good, service was HORRIBLE. Our server claimed to be a "manager" and yet was completely inattentive to our needs as customers. What bar does NOT have sliced lemon?? We spend half the year here and will never go back!

Love our local bar. Great live music great prices in and outside bar. Very low key.

It's like going to the corner bar with great bar foods. Staff is very attentive. Large menu selection. Recommend the wings.
